First off this is after BOY puberty has set in and finished (Like age 23)

Alright so there are some articles that say it may take 3-5 years for full effect correct? Well... Does Shots/Needles just quicken the process or is the end result much better then the pills?

Eg: If I was to take needles for 8 yrs.

VS

Eg: If I was to take pills for 8 yrs.

Would there be a difference much in looks?

Chibi, this is best discussed with your endocrinologist. Peoples experiences with HRT vary a great deal and often time the choice of HRT (pills, patches or injections) is a personal preference. The main thing is to monitor your blood work and make sure the levels are right.

When my daughters who are cis female began puberty at 9 years old for one of them and ten and a half for the other, they had 8+ years before final adult growth was attained which meant quite a few things going on.  Intramuscular injection does get the 'mone into the blood system a bit earlier, but that is a matter of hours per injection or per pill.  It does not speed up what YOUR body will do with the hormone until and if it reaches cells that can do something with it.  Every one of us is different in that aspect, and just because the hormones are in your blood stream does not mean they are doing anything, they may just be waiting for a trip out the kidneys and into the public sewer system.  Your endocrinologist may end up trying both ways on you to find out what your best system is going to be, and it may be via a cream or a patch depending on your body.  It will be a cooperative venture between the two of you to find your best method, and your best is my worst probably.  I have friends who are 46A bra size who have done the shot thing and others who are 42DD who did the oral meds, and one friend who was on a patch who had to have BREAST REDUCTION on her 40H boobs.

Follow your Endo's advice and prescription and do not overthink the whole thing!!

The changes happen relatively quickly if you ask me and I'm on pills because me and needles don't get along! ;)

I'm on patches (low dose)  and I'm very happy with the changes after not quite one year.

Yes, I was surprised. I did a lot of research before HRT, and I decided against injections because at higher ages, the injections are claimed to be less safe than the pills, and that the patch is the safest. I did a gel medication for years and it was a huge hassle, so I opted for pills......

Oh ok. I was just wondering if there was a "time limit" for feminization as much as possible during the 8 yr period. Because I mean obviously I wanna look completely feminine. Not just a little.

EXAMPLE of what I mean by time limit

A girl going through puberty with higher estrogen levels till maturity

VS

A girl going through puberty with mediocre levels of estrogen till maturity.

Wouldn't the end result be different? Wouldn't she look different?

The science doesn't support that however, and it can be dangerous to increase your estrogen levels too high. In a young girl's body as they go through puberty, a lot of stuff is going on all at once. They are growing as well as developing with a cocktail mix of all kinds of hormones and such in them. For those of us who have to have a second puberty, we can't take it that fast or that extreme. It actually has the potential to do a lot of damage, possibly even be life threatening! It's best to just do as the doctors say and take it slow. If the changes aren't what you desire, you can always look into other options later. The important thing is that you don't do permanent damage to yourself that you then have to live with for the rest of your life. I've still got half my life ahead of me, so I'm going slow because I want forty more years as myself, forty more years for me.

If a natal woman gets pregnant, her E levels go up very high as the pregnancy progresses, and that shuts down growth permanently.  The growth included there is bone and other secondary sex organs.  Even if the pregnancy is terminated in an early trimester, intentionally or accidentally, the experience shuts down further hormonal development.  In that case super high levels stop the whole show.  It is not the level of the hormone, it is how YOUR BODY uses it, even tiny amounts that matter.

The answer to your question, is yes, no, and no one answer applies to all..

I have found some people correlate TG = child predator ... just as some have correlated homosexual = child predator...    I am baffled by the TG = unsafe connection ... my wife tends to think this way, that this is all about sexual deviancy ... I try to ask how my preference for wearing frilly socks with embroidered flowers and a comfortable camisole under my lavender T-shirts is sexually deviant (or sexual anything) but I don't get very far...

Not sure.  The perp is a minor.  The problem here is NOT transgender, the problem here is incompetent and criminal administration.  See https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/family-of-loudoun-co-student-sexually-assaulted-ineptitude-of-all-involved-is-staggering/3231725/ It is more than annoying that people think the problem here is TG and that other people think the solution is some stupid statewide law.  Like an appendectomy to deal with an ingrown toe nail.    Since Loudon, I recall a boy was asked not to use the girl's restroom at a high school by one of the girls.  He, overwhelming her with height and weight,  assaulted her, claiming he had a right to be there.   Later I think eight girls beat him severely in another girl's restroom.  Again the problem is not transgender, the problem is assaults in restrooms and common courtesy.  TG is used as a smokescreen and it seems to paralyze thought among administrators who do not want to do anything to provoke controversy.

Time to get with your Primary Care doctor and be referred to a neurologist or an orthopedist.  It could be many things, too many for any of us here to guess at.

Other than the Boy Scout motto, oath, and law. I use two:   When asked how I'm doing? In all honesty I reply. I would have to make something up to complain. If asked to explain further: I reply. I know someone is having a tougher time than I am, and I pray God blesses them.   I also recite this quote that I have tagged in my signature: Courage, doesn't always roar. Sometimes it's the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."-Unknown    Saying these things daily keep me motivated.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

If this goes on, I am conceding the real possibility of being stopped in WM or somewhere by a concerned citizen who tells me, "Lady, God made you female.  I don't think you should be trying to look like a man. You need to return to your true gender and be comfortable living your life out as a woman."   Begin odd and awkward conversation.  I have been thinking about this this morning.

There are many MAGA GOP types who are not transphobes, of course. Some MAGA GOP types are transgender.

I'm hoping to read the next section today.  Many of the reforms they are calling for are good, such as expediting the military procurement process, and have nothing to do with transgender issues.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I was going to call it Numbness, then I realised well.. it isn't. basically, yeah, it isn't.   this only happens to me sometimes. I'll be lying down and my legs will.. well, I guess lock?   If I straighten them out, they will unlock- when I roll over again, they will lock again. this lasts for around 10/ 15 minutes I guess   it's not pins and needles either
