Tucking

I know this subject has been asked many times on here but I wanted a fresh approach on how to go about tucking with ease. I use to wear pantyhose and two pairs of panties to keep things smooth, ever since my cancer surgery and having to wear a Urostomy bag on the outside of my abdomen now, I am unable to wear pantyhose very well, not allowed to put any friction on the bag or could cause some serious issues.  Just wearing two pairs of panties is not doing it for me.  I know that Brenda posted a sticky on this subject and tucking the testicles into the cavities of the abdomen, I have not tried this yet, but my question is, once they are tucked up their, do they drop back down or how to do keep them from dropping back down?  I have used a gaff and it is too uncomfortable.  Any suggestions or answers to my question would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Susan,

i typically use a one size two small pair of panty hose with the legs cut off over panties. This is enough to keep me comfortably tucked and to keep my testicles from dropping back down. I'm lightly built, so this may not work for everyone. without the hose they'd definitely drop back down on me.

hope this helps!

Depending how extreme you want to go, there's snug underwear, pantyhose with the legs cut off, or medical tape. But keep in mind that medical tape + hair down there = lots of owwie at removal time. I'm sure there are other ways, those are just the 3 that I know of.

It was a worry for me about testicles not readily dropping back down again, but then I remembered that at really cold times I had sometimes noticed they retracted anyway so were almost there. In practice I have not had any issue, except for the scrotal sac having a tendency to peek out the sides of panties. I think the key is to be very gentle and not force anything. Take it in easy stages as you explore. I have found with time that it is very comfortable and it nows feels very strange not to be.

I usually find a well made pair of panties keeps the testicles in the cavity. The majority of the cheap / thin ones don't so, although Ok with leggings or skinny jeans, if I am wearing a skirt or dress I wear very secure panties or tights (even though tucking is less of an issue as there is less show). With the penis under the body, when in the cavity the body shape comes to resemble the female form more so panties fit better at the front so if the fabric is strong there everything tends to hold in place better.

Thank you for your suggestions, I did not think about cutting the legs of the pantyhose, that might be something to try, plus the tighter fitting panties.

If you try the tape I highly recommend KT Tape.  It is expensive, but by far the most comfortable tape you can use.

I had some difficulty tucking.  Shape wear of almost any type helped but i learned that for me the best idea was to simply wear clothing that didn't emphasize a smooth crotch.  I wore skirts instead or long shirts that hung below the offending area.

I guess I use a hybrid method. I first put on a pair of stretch panties that are one size too small, then I tuck. The round bits are small enough now to fit up into those canals so it isn't a problem. Then I put on a pair of compression underwear, high on the waist, lower than boy shorts on the thigh. Then I get dressed. I can wear relatively tight stretch jeans and not detect anything, but I usually wear shirts that come down pretty low just in case. As long as I'm not very active, this works well for me. But if I'm bending over or crouching down, basically using my lower abdominal muscles, then things move. Usually it's a matter of things popping out and popping back in again as soon as I stop using the muscles. It can be disconcerting, but not painful. And it's a hell of a lot less disconcerting than the dysphoria I get if I don't tuck! I can even wear yoga pants without too many problems, but I don't like the look of things so I ALWAYS wear a long shirt.

Before HRT, tucking was painful, difficult to maintain, and NEVER looked right. I say this only for other girls who, like I used to be, are looking for more information. ;)

I don't tuck because touching that part of my body isn't an option for me.

I just wear clothes on which tucking is not mandatory.

Hi Clara,

I am curious why touching that part of your body in order to tuck isn't an option for you? I know I am not found of that body part on myself either, which is why I am on the path for surgery. However, especially after being on HRT for almost a year now, tucking has become easier. It also opens up the types of cloths I can wear too.

Hi

My problem is mental. Tucking requires some manual manipulation to do it properly. That part disgusts me so much that I avoid touching or even looking at it. I just can't it's too hard for me. I try to live like it's not here.

In the toilet I just put one finger on the basis to pee, that's the only case where I have contact with that thing. As I have a big belly I don't see the horror when I look down.

I am never naked.. never.

I know that I have to give up to wear some clothes because of this. That's sad but I also know it's temporary

I know the problem although I have never had too much of an issue as I tend to be very pragmatic about things. It is one of those facts which tends to point me into the belief of me being more androgyne than MTF as I keep tucked pretty much all the time, preferring my parts out of sight and mind, but have also never liked large breasts either. They would be just as bad. Like most people, I live with what I have and make the best of it.

For tucking, I use a gaff. But as I am more of a home body, I don't tuck while at home anyway. At home I do wear a gaff to hold everything tightly in place. Then over that I wear panties for cd's and pre-opp tg's that have padding in front to cover up the bulge a bit. It works ok as any bulging looks like a fat bulge instead of a "you know what" bulge. I wear these panties even when tucked. That way if things should start coming untucked, I won't suddenly have a tell tail bulge. When I tuck those things up into my abdomen they make kind of a fat bulge anyway, so there really isn't too much difference for me when tucked or untucked.

Happy tucking:D!LOL

Lots of love,

WOW @Ashley0616 it’s good that you have skills to treat traumatic injuries, as well as the ability to remain calm while managing others needs to get yourself and the boys ready to go to the hospital. Proud mama bear skills. I’m glad that he’s doing well.    Meanwhile back at the ranch, we slept in and I’m just now finishing my 3rd cup of coffee.    Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well yesterday was not fun. I was getting ready to make dinner and I hear screaming and crying. I look over and my son put his foot through glass. He gashed near his Achilles tendon. Thankfully that is intact. I didn't freeze for a second. All of my military training came into play. I doctored him up and got Jett ready and myself and we headed to the ER. He is doing ok today. He says he is in pain but doesn't need Tylenol. He is a tough cookie!

Hi,   It's seems today is my trans birthday.  I'm beyond excited. Just picked up my testogel from the pharmacy. Although I naturally have doubts as I'm sure do we all, they are rapidly disappearing. Yesterday I was so nervous I kept claiming I'm not trans, despite grinning like a fool knowing I can pick up my prescription the next day. I'm shaking and on the verge of happy tears. I will put on my first sachet this eve. Thanks so much to this forum and kind words from people. This is the first forum I found when I began seriously questioning.

While the Soviet Union did not end up being the source of all evil, I believe that history has shown that Joe McCarthy generally was right. There ARE all kinds of Marxists slithering around. And if that had been dealt with firmly 75 years ago (or more) the nation wouldn't be in the shape that it's in now.    And while I generally oppose the idea of intervening in foreign affairs, the world probably would have been better off if we had taken care of issues in Russia and defeated the Bolshevik Menace back in 1919. God bless the memory of Admiral Kolchak.   Getting back to project 2025, my belief is that Republican efforts are inappropriately focused on trans folks. A minority of a minority does not wreck a nation. But it is easier to focus on trans folks because they can look like they're doing something. They don't have to address the real problems, and really they don't want to address them because they would have to address themselves.  They would also need to admit that the 50 State version of the USA cannot be saved.

@Willow things went pretty well on Monday. I have been working on the project all week long. I've been hanging out with my husband a lot, since he said that nobody would mind because I'm working on company stuff. My work is going slowly, but it is going. Rather better than I had hoped.   I ended up waking up late this morning. After 18 months of only working on house chores, not really used to doing anything else. Actually a little bit tired

Getting back to this… I've seen objections to Critical Race Theory, but simply "critical theory" is a new one on me.  I think we need to be "critical" about a lot of things, or at least examine why we believe what we do about them.  If they stand up under scrutiny, great.  If not perhaps we need to look at something else.   Not all socialists are Soviet Russian Communists. I have read very little Marx myself.  That kind of writing bores me quickly.  But I think there are legitimate concerns about unfettered capitalism.  There are countries that seem to do well on a mixture of capitalism and socialism.  But I am no Tankie.   The Red Scare kinda morphed into the Lavender Scare, and now we have this Transgender Scare.   The thing is, most people are scared to get to know any of the people they are scared of. I'm not scared of evangelical christians.  But I am a little scared of what they seem ready to do to me, because they are scared of me. I am not a scary person - don't want to be.  I'm just an old trans woman trying to mind my own business, and get with what's left of my life. And the 2025 project seems to be designed to make that difficult.
