Forum Bookmarks: Hall of Fame?

Evening!

 

I wanted to ask everyone in general if there are forum posts you have saved to refer to later.  Vicky and Xander have both posted about their experiences recovering from surgery, but I'm sure there are many other good posts we might want to immortalize - whether they're informational, thought-provoking, or worthy of preservation for some other reason, I'd like to take a look at them and create a master list of posts that newcomers will find value in reading.

 

If you're aware of such a post, please let me know in the comments here, either with a link or something I can use to try to search for it.  I know this task will be a bit more difficult because of the forum software going rogue ages ago, but I'm sure we can pull some useful content up regardless.

So I take this would be something different than the "pinned" posts at the top of each heading?   Or is there a way to have "my bookmarked posts" within our own profile?   I understand we can "follow" posts and this may be the same result.

It would be, yes.  I'd like to have a centralized post and/or page on the site with those posts that have important information.  Something new folks or casual browsers can look at and see a list of the "best of" what we've discussed.
