I really haven't thought that far ahead. I only came out to my sister yesterday. It's all very new to me.

Thats fine.  You've got plenty of time.  There are no rules about timeline or process other than doing what makes you comfortable and happy.

Hi Tara!  It's great to see another Jersey Girl here.  

This site helped me as i found my footing and slowly came out to the world.  Hopefully you will find the same.

Perhaps the best thing is to find we are not alone.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I am taking this very slowly. I come from a family that is very phobic of anything that goes against their beliefs. It feels nice to actually have a place that is judgement free.

I play all kinds. I usually play FPS, racing, and fighting games the most but I will try any kind of games. I Also enjoy D&D and other tabletops.

I am into X-wing at the moment and 4X strategy games like Galactic Civ and Civilization. I've been playing RPGs since I was a teen. The group I play with has been together for 20 years now.

I feel old :(.  Aside from the references to Racing and Fighting, I have no idea what you two are talking about.   I was raised on Monopoly, Parcheesi, and Michigan Rummy...

I don't really play much 4x. I am a story driven person when it comes to games. I mainly game on console.

 

I use to play monopoly but it always leads to arguments so I don't play anymore. And I love a good game of cards.

Maybe it is because I'm a history geek, but I tend to make up stories about whatever custom  race I've created. My favorite RPG is Baldurs Gate. As to card games, have you tried cards against humanity?

I love CAH me and my roommates play all the time. We just picked up the BBB expansion. I also play magic the gathering.

      Like I said, I'm no tankie, but I do see a world of difference between Joseph Stalin and Bernie Sanders.   If the point is not wanting 'government control' the Right is pretty good at that themselves - as they've been demonstrating lately. This stuff gets complicated.

      So, I am curious. Is the Governor going to mandate vaginal or penile recognition photos before one enters the restroom? Considering the Governor has no balls to do the right thing, will he have to pee against a tree outside? Inquiring minds would like to know. I love it when the job recruiters contact me about the wonderful jobs available in Oklahoma. It is so much fun telling them there is no way I will ever go to Oklahoma.       Ngl, probably Sonic the Hedgehog, the Beatles, or the Monkees. Those are the three subjects I know the most about so I could drop hours of info on them.

      It's nice to care about others but you need to live your life as you please. No one be your only source of happiness. Love yourself and don't look back. I lost over 40 family members it hurts but apparently, they didn't truly love me. True love will always be there through the thick and thin. I can honestly say that HRT has made me think in ways that I never thought I would. I get myself some shoes or clothes every month because retail therapy not only helps but it is a reward to myself to show love. I have over 100 dresses. I have a whole walk-in-closet full of clothes and 67 pairs of shoes. I love who I am. I was born in 84 so not all people in the 80's think that way. As far as the name just take your time and be happy with it. I knew I loved the name Ashley. Take care and welcome!

      WOW @Ashley0616 it’s good that you have skills to treat traumatic injuries, as well as the ability to remain calm while managing others needs to get yourself and the boys ready to go to the hospital. Proud mama bear skills.       Well yesterday was not fun. I was getting ready to make dinner and I hear screaming and crying. I look over and my son put his foot through glass. He gashed near his Achilles tendon. Thankfully that is intact. I didn't freeze for a second. All of my military training came into play. I doctored him up and got Jett ready and myself and we headed to the ER. He is doing ok today. He says he is in pain but doesn't need Tylenol. He is a tough cookie!

      Hi,   It's seems today is my trans birthday.  I'm beyond excited. Just picked up my testogel from the pharmacy. Although I naturally have doubts as I'm sure do we all, they are rapidly disappearing. Yesterday I was so nervous I kept claiming I'm not trans, despite grinning like a fool knowing I can pick up my prescription the next day. I'm shaking and on the verge of happy tears. I will put on my first sachet this eve. Thanks so much to this forum and kind words from people. This is the first forum I found when I began seriously questioning.
