Update... life becoming a mess. The price of a transition ?

I am going to be meeting my ex tomorrow for lunch, it is one of those things I approach with a little trepidation because she has a tendency to criticize me in some minor way to lash out at me because she does not know how else to react. It was worse when we were married and I was figuring things out under pressure from her. It led to us just avoiding each other.

Criticism ist very annoying.

My ex is always criticizing me saying she didn't expect I will become "that kind of girl". 

She is against everything. Last time she told me that my room decoration may get the children in trouble ...

 

They don't find anything real to say so they have to be creative.

Surprisingly well (no remarks about my big hands this time!), we mostly talked about how things were going in our lives and how our relatives and friends are doing.

 

One of the things she says is that I have changed so much,, which I cannot argue with. I think she is finally coming to terms with everything.
