Hello all

So i'm a man in his mid-to-late twenties on his way to starting a journey to a she. I stopped suppressing all my own feelings some months ago, having kept almost every little excruciating little bother bottled up for almost a decade, and in doing so, old feelings from my school/college years that I did not know how to properly identify or process at the time, resurfaced. Though this time I was ready for them, and rather than be ashamed or frightened by them, embraced them for what they are.

It's like coming home to an (immortal) dog: you've been gone for an hour (well, more like 8-9 years personally), but as far as they're concerned, it might as well of been 2000 years. And They're SO happy to see you again.


I don't talk very much online outside of specific needs, but it gives me great pleasure to become part of a community sharing similar ideals regarding gender and being honest about the feelings associated with transition. I suspect I may be making use of insights and resources in the future, better put my best foot forward!

I’m glad to see that you’ve made this important decision and rejected all the guilt and shame we project onto ourselves! I wish I had the courage to have been as honest with myself at a young age as you are, you’re clearly a brave soul willing to take care of herself and process information that we all struggle with so much. I look forward to hearing from you more here on the forum, it’s always fun and exciting for me to talk with others that face the same challenges, even if I’m twice your age.?
