Sorry i don't have any details but NPR made a short announcement as they were discussing the budget that Trump had issued a ban of Transgender troops in the military.

I'm also sorry we are all going through what this man has done to our brothers and sisters.  

This too will pass.  We are out of the closet and not climbing back in for this administration.

Here are some more details.  I've also been monitoring Twitter, and the ACLU, among others, is already promising strong action.  In the meantime, the existing court orders remain in effect, and the Pentagon says it will abide by them.  Hang in there!

trump is a fool, and the republicans are following the fool. This silly minded little man in the White House is making even a crook like Richard Nixon look pretty good by comparison. In the furure, school teachers in hystory classes will talk of trump's failed presidency. After all, the man is so pathetic that if there is a bad idea out there, trump can be counted on to support it completely!

I just don't understand Congress.  They have no spine.  He espouses everything the republican party has preached against and yet they embrace him.  I believe they smell fear and are clinging to whatever they can.

There is already evidence in the hands of some investigators that the "recommendations on military readiness" #45 relied on are not from the military itself but from one or maybe two "retired officers" who work for at least two Anti - LGBT hate groups.  Some of the papers that have been acquired have actual quotes by the leaders of these groups in them.  The quotes are not credited to them in the administration's papers, but have been plagiarized from them or used with under the table consent from sources where the H8ers are given credit for a letter by letter statement.

Yep. They won't release an official list of the advisors. The actual text in the "report' is such hodge podge of medical and trans-terms with no context or understanding that the entire thing would just be laughable to me if it didn't have such a big impact on serving trans people. 

We have a LONG way to go in educating people.

The republicans know they're in terrible trouble in November, and are deathly afraid of loosing the one segment of the voters they can count on, the far extreme rightwing voters. One republican even stated that their far right core supporters seem to have one criteria for giving their support, "Are you with trump or against him?" With him and they support you, against him and they don't.

It is VERY likely that this will be tossed out by the courts.

 

I'm pretty sure there is one simple reason why the First Lady puts up with what she puts up with: $$. There's likely to be more of that for her by outliving him than by divorcing him--as the third wife I'm sure she went in to a situation with an ironclad prenup favoring her husband.
