I've been elected President...

So, some of you have followed my various political actions and efforts as I've posted about them in the forums and I thought you might appreciate the most recent event.

Last Thursday I was elected as President of Placer Stonewall Democrats Club. That's a Dem club in our county that's focused on electing LGBTQ candidates and allies, and supporting legislation that bolsters the equal rights of all LGBTQ folks. 

We're a small club right now, so this isn't really a big deal, but it's nice to know that a primarily lesbian and gay membership is comfortable having me as the face of our group representing them publicly and speaking on their behalf. 

I've attached a photo. I'm the tall person directly above the 'A' in "Placer".
