Hey all. Well this morning was the first time in my life I have ever give myself a shot while being my myself. It was not as bad as I thought even though I don't like needles. I am really happy I was able to do it. So this I the 3rd injection so far and I hope things will stats moving a little faster but I am ok if they don't to. Anyways I welcome comments. Susan

A couple of tables in the WPATH Standards of Care give a range of average times for physical changes to take hold on us.  We can expect things to become noticeable in 3 to 6 months and the whole  process of HRT transition to complete itself in 3 to 6 years*.  My purpose in sharing this is to let you know not to be too discouraged if things do not happen all at once.  An example is that my own top of head hair did not complete its change for 3 years, and came in as very fine which is hard to style for much, but it is mine.  One thing that does happen pretty soon is that we realize we are at last the True Person we have been looking for all of our lives.
