UK Lottery finishes review and funds Mermaids after all!

This was great to see this morning! After reacting to TERF anti-trans backlash, the UK Lottery pulled their funding of the Mermaids group that provides support to trans kids. This was heartbreaking. However, after a thorough review the funding has been re-instated.

This is great news for trans youth in the UK and it also shows that the objective analysis justifies (of course!) supporting kids' understanding of their gender identities!

Sounds like the joke is on a comedian!!  He seems to be a "sit down and shut up" instead of a "stand up" now.  He did actually do a favor though in that reasonable people were able to weigh the evidence on the side of Trans people and found it worth investing in.
