My name is Em, I'm 17 turning 18 next week. I don't know who I am in terms of identity yet. I posted a thread in the 'Who am I?' section to clarify or perhaps confuse further on that topic. 

 

I'm sorry if I suddenly don't use the forum anymore, it's probably because I stopped being confused and just decided I Identity with my birth gender and felt embarrassed about trying to join this community in the first place because I'm a 'fake'. 

 

If I can make a positive change in anyone's life, I recommend you check out the YouTube channel ContraPoints. She's a wonderful political youtuber with a great sense of humour and is part of the reason I'm becoming more open surrounding the confusion around my gender ☺️

It's hard, but I wish I could tell myself when I wasn't sure who I was to just embrace it. Recognize that you're questioning, and experiment. I loved experimenting, even though it was a very confusing time.

I'm not sure if you've decided to stay with us longer or leave, but you are welcome to stay if you like.  Sometimes its good to just explore the forums and see what others have gone through and thought about who were unsure about gender issues.  Whatever course of action you decide to take is fine.  I wish you all the best.
