Low estrogen

Maybe i am not on right place. I am new here. Sorry because of my bad english. I started hrt before one month. And today i have my results. But i am little confuse because before my hrt my estradiol levesls was 193p/mol and now after month is 56p/mol. Is that normal on the beging hrt? I use Androcur <dosage removed> one per day and Climara <dosage removed> patch one for week. Thanks everyone for response

Hi Alisa welcome to the Forums.  I am sorry but I had to remove the dosage information you gave us since it is against our Forum Rules.  The dosage really is not as important though as it seems.  I have been 10 years on very low doses and my changes have been satisfactory, but it does take time for your body to adjust to the changes.  The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) has a table in its Standards of Care v7 (SOC7) that gives the time frames for HRT results, and it shows that almost all take one to three months to even start working, and then three to six years for them to reasonably complete hormonal transition, so there can be ups and downs in the speed of activity.  If your doctor is not concerned, then you can rest easy and not worry about it.

Hello Alisa.  Welcome.  

 

As Vicky notes it does take some time for your body to adjust to a different primary hormone.  But have faith, you'll do fine.  Also note that concerning changes like breast growth, your genetics will play a role as well.
