Meeting with Dr. for Orchiectomy

Hi! I had a meeting with my Primary for a “referral” for my Orchiectomy! I’m very excited! I should be getting a call from the Dr that will be doing the Orchiectomy, if not I am to call the Dr to double check. I’m am confident I will be called soon. I will update here. ???!!!

One thing to mention to the surgeon is whether or not you plan to ever have a vaginoplasty.  That info will be important in determining how the surgery will be done.  Be sure to ask about insurance issues, too.

You also want to ask if all the "tubes" that connect your testicles will be removed as part of the procedure.  Leaving them can cause difficulties in the future.

That’s so great. Id love to have those nasty thinks removed. I’m 5 months MtF HRT and can’t wait till the year mark. Then I’ll ask my primary if she’ll refer me to a surgeon for removal.

Hi! I saw The Orch Dr yesterday! It was a great visit! I first saw his resident dr, which happened to be a gorgeous blue eyed red head, (and the only reason i mention that, is in the past I might have felt awkward, but i felt comfortable and even excited like i could talk to her about in a less clinical way, if that makes any sense). We talked more about the procedure, and the safety concerns. Then of course the exam, which was a pull the shorts down type, I was wearing my favorite thong of course ?, which happened to be the first time anyone else has seen me in a thong. (rambling, but seriously it felt good, weird? No? lol) Then after, we talked more , then she said she was going to get the "Permission slip!" After signing the permission slip Dr Woo came in. We talked more about the same and did another physical exam, and he explained how the procedure would take place and what I need to do as far as care.

So now I wait until all the paperwork is complete, then I will get a call to schedule the Orchiectomy! Im very excited!!

UPDATE:!!! I just scheduled my Orchiectomy surgery for JUNE 6th!!!!! OMG IM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!! Its kinda surreal. When I got the voicemail , I had to play it again cause I thought they might take a a week or so to do the paperwork and such. Weeeeeeee!! FINALLY!!!

Thank you! Breathe exhale breath exhale, wheeeew! Soo excited for sure! I am still feeling giddy, and i had one doubt that barely lasted for a second lol.
