I GOT MY FIRST BINDER! It flattens SO much better than I thought it would. I never noticed how many shirts I had but have only worn maybe twice max because it wouldn't hide my chest. The amount of confidence I feel is indescribable. My dysphoria has lessened drastically. I can't wait to wear it to school on Monday!!!!!!!

Guys,

I PASS!!!

Wow, that's incredible! I'm going to be trying a binder soon, hopefully the results are as amazing as yours! Top surgery will be very high on my list of priorities, but until then this may be the answer for feeling more my male self. Thanks for the encouraging post and pic!

@Ronin82 My tip is to move them around in the binder until you find the right position for you. It took me a bit of just moving around, then looking in the mirror, then repeating. Top surgery is right after HRT for me. I'm still not completely sure about bottom surgery, but I have plenty of time to think about it.

Thanks for the nice compliments! A binder really does help alleviate some top dysphoria. At least, it did for me.

I'm wearing it in public for the first time today, and I've heard nothing but good feedback. My friends flipped out because they had never seen me so flat, and they, plus a couple of teachers and various other friends, said I looked cis, which I'm very happy about. My confidence is noticeably higher, along with my happiness. My dysphoria's down, as well. All in all, so far, it's a good day.

Looks wonderful! I remember wearing my first binder. I felt amazing, although my skin didn't appreciate the rough material.

The binder I have now is lined with cotton and works wonders. I am a bigger guy with larger breasts, so passing is difficult, but my binder helps a lot.

I should wear it more often...

AWESOME, @killjoyaiden

You look GREAT!

I just got my first binder, too!  I don't pass (I'm a fair bit bigger, though not a huge chest), but it makes me feel a lot better.  Much better than a sports bra at flattening.  AND I was in a convenience store, getting ice for my coffee and a lady and kid got behind me in line.  The lady said, "Wait until he's done." to her son!!!

Went to my first gender therapist session, too (now 2nd).  He's great.  Not trans, but gay and has other trans patients.  He's giving me a letter and a contact for HRT!!!

We'll get it going, @killjoyaiden and everyone!!
