Florida Local Surgeons

Hi all!
I'm in the Tampa Bay area and I'm starting to look for surgeons for MtF SRS in the next year or two. I'm not a fan of flying, so I'm hoping to find someone not too too far from home base for me (within a day's drive). In Florida specifically, I've seen Dr. Maercks (Miami), Dr. Whitehead (Restore Center, Miami), and Dr. Greenwald (here in Tampa), but they all have minimal reviews.

Could anyone shed some light on these three doctors for me? Or recommend someone within ~10 hrs drive of Tampa?

Hi! I hope you get what you deserve, but please wait for a better than minimal type doctor. I’m glad that you are asking about these three question doctors, and I hope you  are able to find a really good doctor that is close enough for you.

Not all surgeons advertise their business as they have enough to satisfy their needs.  I would speak to any doctor you might consider to see for yourself who they are and how they perform the procedure you want.  I looked into Dr. Greenwald as I have family in the area that would have made recovery easier for me.  I found a little about him which was all positive.  I ended up going with another doctor closer to home.  Good luck in your search.
