Being sure of my gender identity

Trigger warning: dysphoria

Hi friends! I'm starting to accept my identity but I'm not sure yet and I really lack resources where I live. So I have some questions if you don't mind me asking.

I have mostly chest dysphoria and long hair makes me feel very bad. Also I really want to have a penis and I always fantasize about being a guy and transitioning. I hate people using female pronouns for me and I don't feel like a woman AT ALL.

Is that enough to sure of my identity? Are these common feelings among trans people?

It's not a phase because I've had these feelings for years now but now that I'm fully aware of it, my dysphoria is crippling. I really want to be sure of my gender identity so any ideas, tips are welcomed. Therapy is not really an option where I live .

You are describing feelings and issues that FtM Transgender people classically have.  You are the only one who can make the decision if you are or are not Trans, and that is true even with a therapist.  None of us here are therapists, but those of  us who have been around for a while have seen that if there is even a gender question in your mind. you are not Cis gender.  Cis gender people do not have gender questions. Where a real need for help comes in is deciding what steps you need to take to control your Gender Dysphoria and to what extent you need to go into transition.  No two of us are alike there.  I have done one thing but not others and I am fine.  Others have done the things I did not do and feel fine without doing what I did.  It is a puzzle to be sure.  It is not a matter of IF you have GD, it is the matter of what to do about it.

Also, I like guys and I do consume a lot of gay content, so maybe I'm fetishizing gay men? Does anyone thoughts about this?

Lots of trans guys are gay, nothing wrong with that!

Thanks! I'm fully aware of that. But I'm still in the phase of figuring out my gender identity and I wondering if consuming gay men media might cause severe feelings of wanting to be a gay man or crippling gender dysphoria?

No, watching Gay media will not turn you Trans.   There are a number of scientific studies that have found that is not true.

Thank you ! Can you send me some of them. I'm really interested in what science has to say on the subject.
