Agreed.  Down

It would depend on the occasion, and what clothes you were wearing.

This I think is maybe the second time I ever tried down. Now that my hair is coming back I can hide quite a bit. But I did end up wearing it up as usual. After about 45 minutes of it down, it was getting kind of unruly. I have extremely frizzy hair.

But I have a wedding coming up. So I may try down for that. Definitely time for a haircut though. Last one was November 2017!! Last time I shaved my head. ??‍? of corse I have been saying that since February. Lol

I think more feminine with it up too, but also agree with changing for the occasion.

Like an accessory, wear it accordingly. Other than that, try wearing your hair up for a more feminine look.

Could experiment by going halfway between up and down with a pollyanna? You'll get the length from the bottom layer and with the top layer pulled back, it will accentuate the feminine features previous posters mentioned. Might help with the frizz you mentioned too ;)

Only an end trim to even things up a bit and then the down will be the more feminine.

I wish that the hair on the top of my head was longer. That’s my issue with the down. Or even more with the half and half.  I have no bangs because my hair is still like a baby’s hair. I am so grateful to see it coming back but gosh is it slow growing. But it IS growing! That’s what I try to remember. But it’s about 1” long at this point. And only in like 2/3 of the area. The rest is still baby fine hair that’s trying to make the shift. In a year or two styling down will be easier. And I definitely like down more. Especially when I don’t straighten it like I did here. It’s super curly and has lots of volume everywhere but up top. So I still think it looks funny.

And yes Vicky, only a trim!! Can’t lose the work I’ve put in this far. Lol. Growing hair is a slow process to say the least. It’s like,,,, well it’s like watching hair grow!! ?????‍♀️

I think down suits your face more, but I agree with the suggestion of varying it up depending upon the situation.

I think changing how your hair is styled is part of the fun of being a girl. I think the down is more feminine on your face. Play with different style and have fun with it!

Half up-Half down styles can be a lot of fun!  When putting your hair up, you can also try pulling hair from the sides and back (and not up and over) so it gives you a more feminine hairline.  That's my trick at least!
