First time putting it together.

For the first time I actually put everything together. From the gaff and false boobies ? to all the makeup. I’ve got to be honest I saw  my body profile and almost cried. Still need more practice with the makeup but it wasn’t to bad for my first attempt. Also need to grow my hair more or get a wig.

A word of hope and dread, I began my Transition 20 years ago as a CD, which lasted 12 years, and FULL TIME with all the the work 8 years ago, and I am still not finished.  Don't worry about it though, you are living your truth and that is the most important.  A happy, friendly attitude with people will more than offset any little defects we have, but that is the same for all our life.

Thanks Vicky,

I know I have a long way to go, just started this a few weeks ago. I am just so damn happy that it came together as well as it did. Far from perfect, but that’s just me. It’s amazing the amount of relief and happiness I’m feeling right now. And the wife seems to approve so that helps. ???

Hi Justine, it's a wonderful feeling becoming yourself.  There's nothing more liberating than finally stepping out and just being you.  I'm so happy for you.  Thank you for sharing.

I knew it would be emotional and awesome, I just didn’t realize how freeing it would be. I feel so.... complete. I still have a lot to work on in my transition, but I feel like I’m off to a great start.

Things always go slowly at first, but you've made an excellent start, Justine.  Your makeup is very well done, and the shape of your eyebrows is going to make for some awesome brows once you get to shaping them.  Wigs are easy enough once you figure out the style that works for you (I suggest consulting a wig store proprietor for tips on color, length and style).  but you have enough hair there to give the real stuff a go if you want to.  By the time I transitioned, my hair was mostly a memory, so wigs it has been.

Congrats, and continued success!

Hey Vicki is on the money. I am on month 6 of hrt and that's with 4yrs as CD under my belt. I still find myself dressing and wear mk up like a street walker, but I am getting better. Practice and patient and cheaps wigs (until you find yr style then buy the real thing) which is were I am currently at saving for a real hair wig and step three  profit....
