Interesting, but limited article.  I'd like to see more about international destinations, cruise lines and airlines; both those that are welcoming, and those to steer clear of.  There are a lot of us who love to travel.  We need more good information.

Well, its a start.  It was interesting to see the list of cities & counties with non-discrimination ordinances on their books. I was surprised by some of the places on (and not on) the list.   Thanks!

I've been all over the country and never had a problem anywhere, but I could have just been lucky.  There are places in the world where I just can't or won't go, for safety reasons, and some where I'd probably be safe with a group, but where I would still be very nervous.  I do check the State Department's web site, but it's information is somewhat limited and generic.

Ive been Birmingham in the West Midlands and never had a problem. However i dislike the ring road. Its like the M25. The speed limit is more of a guide than an actual limit. ( Ohhh its Birmingham Alabama. My bad)

Never had a travelling problem. theres places i would never go regardless of what it says on my passport. such as Saudia, Yeman, Palastine. Libya. Always wanted to go Isreal,  but Japan and maybe Australia is on my bucket list

However I have never had any problems anywhere i went. As far as the USA is concerned. Never been. I got invited once. But that was more for being part of a Love triangle. Not my thing at all and disneyland i can take it or leave it. My partner keeps going on about it and how much i would enjoy it but not really that bothered.

The Uk is very liberal when it comes to anything like this, But its like anywhere I guess. There is parts that you would never go.That  even the Locals dont go unless they really have to and places that are safe to anyone. Even london has its bad areas and good areas. But they do change.  I grew up in East London in the 80s and unless you  knew the right people or was  very street wise or actted like a native (which I was) then dont expect to come out without a scratch. Now many of those places are quite well to do and dare i say affluent.  However I do go most places without a care but then again I dont really visit the more depreived area of the UK as i have no need. But not trying to promote the UK you could go to far worse places than the British isles.

I think there is some truth in this.  They intend to implement Project 2025, whether or not he spends his energies persecuting the Democrats who have been persecuting him (in his view, a debatable point) and does nothing else.   I have seen numerous accusations that the document is about "Trumpism", whatever that is, and is merely a vehicle for him to become dictator.  From what I have read so far, that is the same sort of truth as the Steele Dossier, denying the validity of a certain laptop, Schiff's non-existence evidence of collaboration and a host of other things, many directly from Biden, that are simply not true.   I will continue reading it.

      Who, precisely, are "they"?

Wife of mine pointed out that not getting a haircut for a month looks hideous - weird bald patches.  So back to super- short buzz cut.  This morning I braced, looking in the mirror.  I look like a woman trying to pass as a a guy, maybe  a small-breasted woman with enough T treatment to grow a mustache.    I would not believe me if I read what I write about me.  This is nuts.   White t-shirt: that they sell in the back of WM so you can tie-dye them or otherwise decorate them. They are thick and long lasting and slightly fitted, so that they could be a man's.  I like them.   Jeans, flip flops.   I will no longer point out these are women's.  What else would I wear?

That is all that is necessary. I did the same thing. I must have gotten something wrong.

Quite right mate! I have been letting my hair grow out again (I cut it all off when I was 18).    I'll never look this good:    But I'll aspire to look my best! ☺️

I got my voting registration card the other day. So I can definitely vote in the general election this fall.

They want the freedom to take ours away.

Yeah, if Trump wins, they'll just flip it again.
    • Ivy
Nope.  He is merely a tool for them to get a foot in the door.  Any other "conservative" president would be fine - on the off chance he doesn't actually run. Trump's "policies" change with his whims.  Look how he's trying to back peddle on abortion.  The only thing he stands for is himself.

Wasn't there some question of whether the perp actually was trans?
