A teacher at work

For years now I’ve had a chance to teach kids about maple syrup production at the NJ State Foresters center.  I started with a beard.  A bit better looking now.

Its actually a really good feeling to be able to enlighten others. I was told i would have been a good teacher but the opotunitys never showed themselves.

 

Does not matter if its marple syruo production or The Rise and fall of rome. Still a worthy contribution.

 

I know who to talk to if i want ome of the under the counter syrup. The strong stuff ?

You will notice how comfort takes presidence over glamour. But To be sure  still a wonderful example of a NJ Girl.

What's significant is all that hay was stacked by this woman!  Go Charlize!

5 ton's in 2 to go.  We will have our first killing frost here soon so i'll start feeding hay  soon.  It always amazes me that all that hay passes through my girls.  Late winter i am simply hoping that i've put enough by as the price rockets up then.  The bucks are with their respective does now until mid November.  A new batch of kids will arrive late February.  With luck about 22 will be hopping around the barn and soon will want more food.  A mothers work is never done.
