What's the most hillarious thing that's ever happened?

Actually I have two. .

The first happened a long time ago during my breast form wearing days, that was after my wearing water balloon period. (Which stopped abruptly when the first time the darn thing exploded on me.SPLOSH!)

I had taken my wife and kids to one of those pizza places that had games.

I was just about ready to score the wining goal against my son in a game of air hockey when suddenly my left boob (supposedly self adhering. Lesson learned: Wear a bra. Don't trust the sticky stuff.) decided to drop onto the table.

My son, thinking it was the puck. (I don't know how he could have mistaken it for a round black thing.)  hit it and it went flying over my head.

Shocked and embarrassed I quickly scooped it up and bolted to the rest room to put it back on.

"Where are you going, Dad?" He yelled. "The games not over yet."

"It is for me!" I shouted over my shoulder as I ran. " You win."

The second was when I got stuck for the winter at a homeless shelter in Omaha Nebraska during one of ill planned cross country bicycling expeditions.

There was this old man. In his 80's I think.

He had just had a circumcision done at the hospital and needed the dressing changed. He had heard that I was a nurses aide and asked me if I would assist him.

So (Picture this.) there he was butt naked sitting on the bench in the shower room with his legs spread apart while I was on my knees in front of him when one of the Shelters Staff Members walked in.

"Blondie!"(That's what they used to call me.) He screamed, "What the hell are you doing?!!"

You can imagine what he thought I was doing. (Perverts.)

I burst out laughing my ass off.

Lesson learned: No good deed goes unpunished!

Memories. Aren't they wonderful?

Be safe. Be Smart.

And stay off your knees. LOL!

These are both in here somewhere, but --

In the early days of my Transition I had been headed to a rest room in a restaurant where I was at a birthday party as Vicky, and while I did not intend to go to the men's room, a guy going into that room made a point of showing me where the girls room was.  I did as told but as I opened that door I saw a woman coming directly at me as if to chase me out.  Not true though.  There had been a mirror on the wall there and the woman had been ME.

I was at a convention for Trans people one year, and the restrooms in the wing where we were having our break-out sessions were all marked Gender Neutral.  In another wing down the hall there was a convention session for a religious assembly that is less than friendly to Trans folk, and the restrooms near them had their signs changed slightly to emphasize their single gender usage.  They had one of their officers guarding the area as well to ensure proper entry.  It was fun to watch their attendees break from the guardian angel and come to our wing, where the men headed right for the usual women's room out of sight of their leadership.

OMG I would of died right there.  LOL

That is to funny and I am still giggling out loud over picturing this.

I have no stories yet to tell of embarrassing events as trans.  I'm just now venturing out of the privacy of my home as "Me".

I had one rude occurrence the other day were I pulled into a spot close to a door for my therapist office building and apparently some guy in a pick up truck was "waiting" on the spot, which he wasn't as he was driving around the circle looking for any spot.  My timing was better then his.  LOL

He stops and shouts at me "Stupid Punt (with a "C") which of course shocked and irritated me to no end.  I said nothing but waved in victory with the appropriate sign language and a big smile.  Though I was embarrassed as others saw this too.  Not very lady like.

I have learned never to rub your tummy while in the maternity clothing section of a department store.

Especially if you have a bit of tummy.

And are not wearing overly wise clothing.

So there I was, shaped wrong, apparently, wearing a house dress, over my long skirt, looking stupidly maternal (I was not aware of that at the time), and absent mindedly rubbing my tummy. "Is this your first?" a passing woman commented. My brain didn't get it fast enough, and as I have a son,  I responded, "no."

2 minutes later, my brain kicked in (the woman had moved on), 'you idiot, that was NOT the correct answer'.

And I don't always learn the first time.

Same outfit (some of us never learn), grocery store, reaching for something almost out of my reach. "here, let me get that for you dear, you shouldn't be doing that in your condition." Blind sided, I accepted the item, didn't know what to say, and the nice man moved on.

Groan :)

To the victor goes the spoils! (or, in your case, the parking spot.)

Kudos! Way to hustle, Girl!

Be safe. Be smart.

And take no prisoners when it comes to getting what you want. Especially parking stops!

What a nice morning smile.  I remember shortly before starting HRT i had invested in a pair of silicone forms from our sponsor The Brest Form Store.   I had grown quite comfortable and had been full time for some time.  One day, while working with a young man in the summer, i had gotten quite hot and sweaty.   Bending over to pick up  a tool i managed to catch the flesh colored object flying towards the ground.  Awkward!  Silicone forms should be labeled "slippery when wet".

Soon afterwards i found mastectomy bra with pockets.

Loosing a wig.......that's another story for another time.  Motor cycle helmets can be awkward.

I can't imagine the stories our FTM members might tell.

There are certainly humorous aspects of this journey.

Hugs,

Charlize
