I'm Penelope and this hit me like a freight train last summer. I live in Mississippi, not on hrt, still in hiding, and I have no idea where I am going or what I am doing. I am just a 51 year old hot mess. I always thought I was just weird guy that liked women's clothing way too much. I don't know what else to say at this point other than hi!

Welcome Penelope, you've come to the right place! It must be tough to cope with your reality in a state like Mississippi. Just today I was reflecting on the fact that I've lived nearly all of my life in similar areas. I'm sure that plays a big role for people like you and me taking a long time to find ourselves!

Welcome to the forum.  I too around your age and came here totally confused and full of what the heck am I and why am I so broken.

I quickly found I was t weird nor broken and a lot of folks here are exactly in our same boat.  
You are not alone and this place has tons of support and acceptance.
