How Boyish Or Girlish Are You?

just for fun

You Are 10% Boyish and 90% Girlish

Even if you're not a girl, you're very feminine.

You're in touch with your feelings, and your heart rules you.

A bit of a emotional roller coaster, one moment you're up and the next you're down.

But no matter what, you try to be as cute and perky as possible.

Well, that was about as amusing as most "pop" polls.

I get "You Are 30% Boyish and 70% Girlish".

Still, the car choice question was lousy. What car would I get? Whatever one of my friends is giving away as junk.

I have a car now, but I haven't turned over the engine in four months. During that time I have been in a passenger vehicle once.

I just walk everywhere, it's more relaxing than road rage. About once a month I take a bus somewhere.

You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch.

Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes.

You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them.

You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be.

I didn't like the car question either. I wouldn't want cute or powerful. Now...elegant...would be my choice. So I figured cute was closer to elegant since I had to choose.

You have a tough exterior - and usually a tough interior to match it.

You're no nonsense, logical, and very assertive.

Sometimes you can't understand women at all, even if you're a woman yourself.

You see things rationally, and don't like to let your emotions get the best of you.

Well that was fun. I'm not that tough, honest and my emotions do ambush me from time to time.

This test is all about stereotypes, i got 50-50 but the test is void afaic.

This is one of the tests I was talking about in another thread, I beleive the one on "Brain Gender" if I am not mistaken. It is easy to influence the results of this one. But then again that's why she said it was just for fun at the beginning.

I could of sworn that I was more girlish then that, :P LOL

Though it is right about rejecting traditional gender roles :)

If I were buying a car, I wouldn't be going for power or looks. I'd be going for cheap in the long run. So something small and Japanese.

All tests like this are inherently biased toward gender roles predefined by society. And if we were going to be following those, we wouldn't be here. :)

And the main thing that annoyed me was how the hell does swearing a bit more often make you 10% more boyish? How does preferring cars with power over looks make you 10% more boyish? :P

I also took the brain gender test back then.

I had a perfect 0%. This was before I said I was andro. I was actually flattered and proud of result. (Though it could have been more male. :P)

(it was like this...

<-100% male -------- 0% -------- 100% female->)

This one was entertaining though. :P

Hi All,

Not to be crude...But i don't need a stinking poll to tell me how girlish i am.

I mean,i live as a woman full time.

How much more femme can i be.

That i took the parts of the old me i wanted and need.

I.E. Assertiveness,Confidence,Fitness,Ect...

Only the parts that will make me a more rounded woman.

Does not make me any more Boyish or Girlish.

If Ya Asked Me,

I am 100% Girl.

Well, minus the right package between my legs that is.

But that is only a matter of time.

Angie. ;)

I am very stereotypically masculine though living as a "female" has given me new viewpoints on common male stereotype behaviours. Besides, I think the stereotypes are stupid. Male and female are just arbitrary categories. We should define ourselves as whatever we want to. If I define myself as a man, it's because I think my society's definition of "man" is the closest social stereotype to how I feel, but I am not necessarily limited to, or part, of that stereotype.

To escape Gaza is already an achievement. And then to be trans?’: the women defying national and gender boundaries. https://www.theguardian.com/film/article/2024/may/16/yolande-zauberman-documentary-the-belle-from-gaza-cannes-film-festival

Accidents happen.  So do heat-of-the-moment murders, without premeditation or trans-related hate.  It will take a trial to really figure it out.     One thing we can see from this is that it is people in our circles of acquaintances, friends, and partners who are the ones who usually hurt us.  Not someone random. We have to be careful who we trust.

Friday May 17th is IDAHOBIT (International Day Against HOmophobia, BIphobia and Transphobia).   Do you acknowledge or celebrate it? Do you do anything special for it, like taking part in any organized events or activities?   I'm not an activist and I prefer to fly under the radar, but I am slowly becoming aware of important dates. I have been aware of the date of IDAHOBIT for a few weeks now, but other important 'rainbow' dates have not been etched into my brain yet.    I will wear my favorite pride t-shirt as a token acknowledgement of the day, but it probably won't be seen; cool weather here will mean that it will be hidden under a sweater.

Happiness for me comes from being cognizant of the things that make me feel good.   Sunshine.   Pandering to my inner woman.   Knowing that some people in my life really 'know' me.   Vacations, and Eggs Benedict at an alfresco cafe.   My wife and I being telepathic.   Grandchildren.   Music.   Wine!
    • Ivy
True.  Every trans death is not a hate crime. There is so much hate expressed by some people, that we kinda get to expect it.

happiness to me is being ME. At all times, and it has yet to happen.

Hello & welcome, giz! Your post makes me remember how excited I was to join here too. I also had queer friends at the time I joined, but any of my trans friends lived a long distance away. So most local queer friends are gay & I felt uncomfortable coming out to them bc I couldn't assume they'd understand genderqueerness. So it was a thrill to join here and immediately have access to do many wonderful, genuine, kind & thoughtful friends-to-be.   Are you saying you're concerned that if you come out to your queer friends that somehow your parents will find out?     My love, I just want to affirm that that's not a weird dysphoria. It's just dysphoria. And we definitely get it. You're in good company here!     Look forward to seeing you around here & getting to know you. I shoot for androgynous appearance as well, leaning towards masculine.   Hope you're having a splendid day!

Listening to a YouTube mix for me and this song came up and I immediately fell in love again and just want to play music with like minded musicians playing OUR music and feel the joy and fulfillment even if no one else gets it. I love to fall into the music....

Funny.....   The day-centre transportation director told me yesterday morning that I was to receive an award, my picture on the website, etc... for having won the billiards tournament (I knew better).   Later that afternoon he returns to "shake my hand" and tell me, "thanks for participating."   I could have told him that was all I would receive earlier. I'm not well liked by management.
