OK, let’s see...What brought you TransPulse and what are your main objectives here?

 

Alright, here’s the next question...How has your family and friends reacted to your news if and when you came out to them, assuming that you’ve already come out to them?

 

And finally....When and how did you come to the understanding of being FtM and gay...was it an event that happened where a light bulb clicked on, did you know at an early age, or was it diagnosed in therapy or some other way entirely?

 

Feel free to ignore one or all of these questions.  These are just some questions I might ask you if I was playing your therapist.  Also, this may give us some useful information about you and your specific journey.

I saw that this was a place to help with specific parts of my transition so I wanted to look into that and possibly share my knowledge with my parents so that they can get a better understanding of what I go through.

 

My friends are super supportive, my mom just recently finally accepted that this is who I am and on occasion will refer to me as her son in front of people who I have come out to.  

 

I knew that I wasn't a girl when I was around 9 but didn't fully come out as a trans guy until I was 14 because I was trying to explore other possibilities.  I found out I was gay when I had my first kiss, it was with a girl and it was not the. best, I don't think I enjoyed one second of it, I am still friends with her to this day but after that I just knew that I was gay.  I also realized that I never really found girls attractive in that way.  obviously there are many women who are attractive I just don't see them the same way I see attractive guys.

Next set of questions...kidding! Lol?  Well we are lucky to have you here, Ryder.  You certainly came to the right place. There is an abundance of information. The key is locating it. If you are interested in finding something specific, I would start by familiarizing myself with the main index. If I’m ever looking for a topic, I seem to have better luck using the the Browse > Forums index page than the Search...but ymmv.

 

One last question from me...have you started your transition and/or do you have any particular destination in as far as your transition goal? Keep in mind transition goals may change at any time during transition so I’m just wondering if and how far out you’ve thought about your individual timeline.

Well I have somewhat started my social transition and am hoping to get on track to start hormones before I leave high school and get my name legally changed.  My main goal is to just do what I can to make myself happy and be myself.
