Well now the jitter start.as soon as they get it they're going to let me know when they're going to forward my meds to my local pharmacy.. I got the consent form around noon and mailed it out like 12:20 ..Sometimes I get overly excited and say things that are just on my mind. Sometimes I just need a friend that's going to say it'll be okay.

Be careful with that!  I trust things will be okay.

I got an email from my provider it seems they didn't receive my consent form from two weeks ago. They're sending another one out for signature. I'm starting to feel is it really worth me transitioning?I mean has anybody ever started hormones and just stop because they didn't feel like going through the hassle. I just haven't been feeling too female lately and haven't dressed an over two and a half weeks.

Please don't give up, Denise.  Many, many of us have had setbacks along the way.  We've learned to be persistent, patient and to persevere, and you must also.  This small bump in the track won't derail your train.

I can say that too, and I am 11 years into transitioning.  My only difference is I have nothing left that did not come from a women's department, but it is not glamours by any means.  I remember the time I spent doing and re-doing paperwork and it  was a downer and one helluva roller-coaster ride but, as @Carolyn Marie said, Trans people are highly resilient and make it through very rough stuff.  Hang in there and roll with it and you will get the job done.

@Denisenj I'm sorry to read this but don't despair.  I had a similar experience when I started HRT as my therapist was in one state and my endocrinologist was in another.  It is frustrating but it will be resolved, and after all these years I can honestly say the extra month (yes Month!) really didn't make much of a difference in the long run.

As to not feeling to feminine?  Yes!  me too.  It happens so again don't despair.  It doesn't mean you shouldn't continue on your journey.  Even after being full time I would ask myself if it was worth the effort.  Like anything in life, it has its ups and downs.  I'm sure you didn't expect a bed of roses.  (don't forget those thorns!)

I'm glad you checked in and vented a little.  Thats why we're here.  To offer support when things seem to go sideways.

Hugs, Jani

Hi again, sorry to hear about your delay! Dont let it get you down, we all suffer setbacks in life whether its transitioning, work, our lovelives or whatever. No one can tell you if transitioning is right for you, the only one that can do that is you. Listen to your heart hon, you may not feel feminine today or tommorrow, but ask yourself the bigger question. Is she always there, waiting to come out? Its not an easy road, there will always be ups and downs whether your male, female or somewhere inbetween. Its how we face those challenges that says the most about us.

(Just thought about it, why do Alot of us use first and middle names. Because males dont?)
