What do your grandkids call you?

I have 4 grandkids. 3 grandsons and a granddaughter. my oldest son has a boy and a girl while my middle son has two boys. One a newborn. My middle son knows and accepts and supports me. I am have been thinking (I know I need to stop that.) What should I have my grandson call me. as I can be female to him. I was thinking Nana. my wife is grammy so that is out.

 

What do your grandkids call you? for those who have them. LOL

I'm called Jana as my wife is Nana.

My Grandson  Calls me Nana.

 

Well, I say calls me he can't talk just yet. But we all agreed on Nana. In fact, I didn't suggest  it was the babes Mum that said it as grandad was far to inappropriate

I am Bestefar, Norwegian for grandfather, to my grands. Granddaughter 7 and Grandson 4. It is what they have always called me and it could be shortened to Beste.

I have said never spoken to or held any of my grandchildren.

My 2 youngest kids (no children yet)  and dogs call me dad still...

When it happens you'll be thrilled.  It's amazing to hold a baby again after all those years.  They do grow fast though!

Jani, is right Carolyn Marie. It is thrilling when a grandchild is expected and when they arrive it is fantastic feeling.

I remember my mother's joy when my son was born.  Seeing her hold him was just wonderful.

I agree. I was able to hold my newest grandson three days after he was born. It felt fantastic.
