I'm 20. kinda tall. My hair is red these days. I have some plants. They live on my carpeted balcony. I'm on the second floor.

 

I used to frequent sites like this as teen, though usually as a silent spectator. But quarantine has left me with to much time to stew in my own thoughts, and frankly it has not been pleasant. Plus all my trans friends are AFAB and so I can only relate to a certain degree, but I think most of them have pretty different experiences from me, so I am dredging a new well in hopes of forming meaningful human contact that has some semblance of relatability. I wouldn't say I'm experiencing a crisis of identity as much as a crisis of existence.

 

I've been hesitant to use these services since the demographics who seem to engage with these sites tend to appear older, and I am interested in connecting with folks my age.

 

Currently trying to finish this semester. I'm going to an art college and losing faith in my life choices, although frankly I've kinda been corn-holed into this route. I went to this arts middle through high school so it's like, the only thing I got going. and day by day I lose the capacity to interface even with that. Hi Nyx, welcome to the forum. Please don't hesitate to read around and join in as you feel. You will find a wide range of people here, many being around your age group. We are not a contact site as such but, having similar issues, friendships are often made as we are a friendly crowd and like to help each other. This is a good place to explore your gender and it's relationship to your world. There are one or two artists of varying degrees and interests.

Hey Nyx, Welcome to the forum!!

 

I am not quite your age, but close haha. I am 3 years behind you (As of the 21st) we do share the love of art. Sadly I am AFAB but I hope we can connect in other ways. You see like a really cool person and would find it cool to talk sometime. I do enjoy knowing people as people rather than their gender.

 

I understand the quarantine struggle, for I am an extrovert in a house of introverts. It's torture, this is my only outlet. 

 

Also, if you love art. Take that love for art and run with it, leave no room for regrets.

That piece is wild! I went to art school myself, for printmaking though I took courses in just about everything. I hear ya about losing faith in life choices. But it's hard to say I regret it. I learned a lot and met a lot of cool people.

Sick, thanks for the insight y'all. I'm currently waiting for some of my devices to charge so I can get some homework done, so I'll probably read around the sight for a minute.  Do folks who have written in a "topic" see subsiquent topic replies? If not what is the best means to like, respond so folks see it. does it have something to do with that "+ quote" button?
