Just joined and need to introduce myself. I'm Mia Marie (new self name). I am 50 and been trans all my life but only within the last few years could I put a label on what I was feeling about myself and where I wanted to take myself. I have use an online counselor for a little while but now I am getting ready to look into a regular therapist so I can get really started in transitioning to become the woman inside I always wished to be and should have been all along. I hope this site will give me answers to things and who knows, maybe I have some answers to give as well.

Welcome Mia! I’m 49 and struggled to put a label on this for most of my life as well.  Seeing a therapist was tremendously helpful for me. It was also unspeakably difficult to start but soo sooo sooooo worth it!
