Anybody Else Feel This?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. But, its odd how I feel/think.

As a guy, I sometimes feel like I should be a girl, like, physiologically. But most of the time, I like being a guy.

The thing is, when I dress, I either feel like myself, or I feel more girly, or sometimes I have the desire to just not be feminine.

Its a weird feeling, of conflicting. Every now and then I long for a permanent change of being a girl, but most of the time, I just want to to dress like one, not permanently be one, or, just wish I could stay who I am but wearing girls clothes.

In conclusion, I am sure I am just a crossdresser, but I occasionally get the strong urge to be a biological female, whether or not I am currently dressed like one. I guess everyone does. But for others, it just feels wrong to not be female.

Ugh, I'm tired of talking of psychology, I'd much rather talk about fashion, like, what the heck is this outfit I'm wearing called? :P

PS. What Im wearing, is some night time outfit, a top with very thin straps, goes down about to the belly, then a matching panty type garment on the bottom, looks like a slightly thicker pair of panties that is cut skinnier at just about the very bottom, so its slightly like a thong/panty hybrid.... Hm, maybe I should just find a google picture of it. :P

Wow, I have felt the same way at times in my life. While I won't transition, I rather wear women's clothing. I feel complete and natural wearing them. I'll take a pretty dress over a suit any day.

I have flirted with idea of wanting to be a female, but I totally happy as a crossdresser.

Just make sure there's not a person wearing it if you find a picture. (The "no underwear pictures" part of the site rules) I think a catalog type picture of the item though would be okay....(I seem to remember a certain pair of "tanga panties" ) Anyhow your outfit sounds like whats called a "babydoll". ;) google an image of that word along with the word "lingerie" and see if that's it.

Hey Some,

Expressing one's femininity with clothes that feel right is an awesome feeling!! Believe me, I so do know!! Remember hon, that at Laura's children and their parents are seeing these posts too. Also anyone who is bent on trying to tear this place down is just aching for any reason to shut Laura's down will attempt to at the slightest inclination of impropriety. So with that said dear, be very careful on underwear or lingerie descriptions of attire. It could be misconstrued that Laura's is a deviant place. Being trans is mis-understood by almost everyone and they all think that we are deviant in some way. So, hon, be careful.

I am glad that you feel good crossdressing!! I do too!! I don't mean to scare you hon. I just want you to be aware of what is at stake!!

Oh, I get many of those same feelings too.

There are days that I just love being able to dress enfemme and it feels oh, so good doing so.

Then there are days that I need to be in male mode to "get some things done" that just would be silly doing in a skirt or dress ;)

And, there are those days when I have to be in male mode but can only think about the next time I get to dress up.

But, I'm happy as a crossdresser too. Its the level that works in my life. You too will find that level of comfort that lets you be who you want to be.

Ah yes, sorry, heh, wasn't really thinking. It WAS like, 2 AM or so. I'll be more careful and such.

Its always great to hear the input of others. It makes you feel, not necessarily less alone, but more... hm, I guess there's really no word for it. But I'm sure you all know what i"m saying.

I think I would like to take it further and possibly transition. :P

Unfortunately my circumstanses due to family and work commitments make this just a dream.

Maybe in the future?

So I have to make do for now I guess.

I feel the same conflicts you do. Sometimes I'm sure I'm "just" a cross dresser, and sometimes I'm sure

that I'm trans.

I'm going to see a therapist soon to try to get a better handle on it and discover which way

is the real me. It should be interesting, to say the least!

I'll let you all know how it goes.

SomeGuy, you can PM me if you want to discuss further. Good luck.

April, that is def good advice. I have had some really bad experiences with a therapist in the past. She way violated my trust. That caused a massive amount of damage to every corner of my life. Truthfully, because of that i have alot of deep seeded trust issues. I'm not sure i could ever go back to therapy. You are of coarse right, therapy would help, suppose its a matter of finding the right one and learning how to trust again.

I look for purses with a shoulder strop that goes across the body. I also like many pockets. But one purse is not enough. I like purses that are artistic and make a statement about my personality. It doesn't have to be flamboyant, but matches my character. I also need a purse when I want to blend in and not be noticed so easily. One that won't draw attention to me when I don't desire it.

What if a social media platform giant, (we all know its name) on devices we own, is held responsible for creating rules to intentionally target our community? for political reasons?

Well just got back back from a visit to our oldest and family. It was nice having my granddaughter snuggle up to me on the couch. Gave me a big hug when we went over yesterday. Spent all day yesterday with them.  I envy my granddaughter, being able to grow up a girl. Something I wish I got to do.    Hugs, Kymmie

I hope our members from the Mid-South are doing OK today.  A lot of places had a real disaster overnight.  Tornadoes dropped all over, through Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee.  Lots of damage, and many people missing.  Pray for those involved, and that there won't be another wave of it tonight.   My county was spared almost all of it, but a neighboring county was hit hard.  Our Defense personnel were mobilized this morning to assist with access control, because all their local LEOs are needed for search and rescue.  No idea of how many are injured and missing, but there have been several deaths.  We may not know for weeks.  Rural areas here have a lot of shacks and trailer houses, and most people were asleep because it hit at the worst time - early morning on a Sunday during a holiday weekend.  Tornado hit a retirement home, and lots of elderly folks were hurt bad.  There was no forecast for this, and little if any warning.      Electrical outage is widespread, and it has been followed by a really hot, humid day.  Heat index is around 115 - it's killer heat.  I went out with my husband this morning, since everybody with a CDL was needed for a convoy.  I'm back home now, since I only got a couple of hours of sleep last night.  He'll probably be there overnight, and GF is there also helping with mechanical issues.  They've converted a big Baptist church into a community shelter for people who have lost their homes, and set up a generator and AC.  I'll probably go back tomorrow to help some more, as they're working on setting up a kitchen...nobody wants to eat MRE's forever.    They're getting no help from the state at all yet.  Governor didn't bother to declare an emergency until this afternoon!   The National Guard hasn't been activated either.  If it wasn't for Defense personnel, there'd be gawkers and looters. Its ridiculous, like only the cities matter.  Two rural towns literally no longer exist - its like a bulldozer a half-mile wide went through.  I've seen tornado damage before, but this is the worst.  Its just heartbreaking to look at it.
