I have to do it anonymously with cash, MO or cashiers check. Whats the procedure for that?

One way might be to ask a favor of a friend or work acquaintance who has a PayPal account. Give your payment in cash to them, and they in turn make the donation in that amount via PayPal.

If you do this, please, please, please make sure that they are happy to make a donation on your behalf to a Transgender Site, if they do this for you, and then decide they do not wish to be connected to us, and they raise a dispute with PayPal, we are charged an additional $20 to refund them! So, please use the message option to state "Donation on behalf of <your username>." thanks in advance.

Many thanks ... Lee,

The pleasure's all mine, literally. This site is my window on the world, along with tgAA. Otherwise, it would be a bleak view....

Dear @Petra Janeand all the staff/mods at Transgender Pulse, I just wanted to say that while I'm new here, the support and community here has been absolutely wonderful and so valuable to me, especially where I'm at now with my journey and transition. It's my pleasure to make a monthly donation to extend my appreciation.

Love,

~Audrey.

Petra Jane ditto here! My private website, which has been around since 2006, is currently down (disabled due "hack"?) and, having been a member of other sites that heavily censure, find your format and friendly member attitudes to be quite refreshing!

Don't post much, not big on lengthy "introductions" either, been quietly transitioning FOREVER (a political "conservative") and your "pro-binary/bi-gender/transfemme" labels would probably best describe me quite well.

The only one I returned was due to it been charged to someone who claimed it was done without their permission and instigated a PayPal chargeback which cost us $20 extra  last year. This was donated this year on 8th July, and refunded on 9th July so as to prevent any further chargebacks.

I can't donate now because I am currently going through a lot. Once I can I definitely will. I'm really hopping the group can stay funded because I haven't felt this welcomed other than the military.

Sorry @Maddee I missed this.

The only reason the green bar wouldn't show should be if someone is not logged in, or they are a Guest or are a New Member, the bar and option to donate only shows once a New Member has made 10 posts and become a regular Member.

Yellow button has changed since we've had a run of fake donations.

Shoot.  I didn't realize how much the site gets attacked.  But really, it figures.

Thank you all for what you do for us.

Having taken on the site, forums, and all of the bills, from Dev (May 2020) and because I also want to be fully transparent about the cost of running the site, I feel it's time to update this information.

If you'd like to donate, please do so viaq the green bar at the top of the forum pages.  The months of July through October are pretty heavy with annual and semi-annual expenses and every little bit helps.

Here's the breakdown as it stands now:

Chat is now free. (Stu now runs the Chat)

Forums:  $70.00 every six months (February and August, effectively billed in January and July). (Was $45 until 2022, support ticket system depreciated!)

Resource Locator:  $50.00 yearly, payable in September.

Email Delivery:  $5.00 monthly.

Server Rental:  $30.00 monthly.

Security Software:  Now included in the package we have.

Domain Renewals: Annual charges for Transgenderpulse.com, Lauras-playground.com and the server domain.

Total Monthly Breakdown: $58.00 per month.  (Annual bills = $690) Updated 28 January 2022

Now then.  I'm on a fixed income, which means I know what it's like not having a penny to spare.  If you're not in a position to donate, please don't feel guilty; I didn't take over here to turn a profit.  The lights will stay on.  Donations are very much appreciated, but they are not a requirement of membership.

An update to clarify a couple of points: Because you have to use your legal name with PayPal, emails confirming your donation from PayPal will be from a name with the initials "DS", not Petra Jane and the email used is tgp (at) uk-web***

Unfortunately, we can only accept payment through PayPal, and please ensure that you have permission to make any donation through a PayPal account, we have recently been stung by someone alledgedly using a PayPal account without the owner's permission and incurred an additional $20 chargeback to refund the donation!

We have recently seen a number of these of late so I am asking that genuine donators please add your forum username in the comment box so that I, and I alone, will know who has sent the donation and that it is genuine. Thank you.

Let me reassure you:

Donations help towards ongoing costs related to keeping the site running, including hosting, bandwidth, etc. It also encourages us to commit regular updates, add features, and improve the service.

Our promise to you is that this site and its use will always remain free of charge.

Sorry, had to pause the Green bar to make room for the Christmas Lights at the top of the forum pages, should be there now. Thank you in advance for any donation you feel happy to offer, it is appreciated.

My mom has been more accepting of me being trans lately and even promised i could get a binder if i pay with my own money. The preferred name is still an issue. So far my mom, close friends and brother know i identify as trans but no one else does. I recently told mr grandparents about my partner and explaines the perferred name as a nickname they prefer to have. Luckily everyone who knows is accepting but i feel like i still have so much progress to make. Started getting more uncomfortbale being reffered to as my deadname and she/her in public. My therapist is getting me a trans pin for my birthday next time I see her. I have hop but sometimes I feel like the goal is so far. HRT and top surgery are things i know i want but there has been warnings given to me about the problems that come with it from the ones that have accepted me and I trust most. Mainly from the adults in my life that know, also been getting nervous many people dont see me as a man but i also go to an all girl school. being consistenly reffered to as women has started to get to me and have had urge on several occasions to write perferred name on paper. i dont think pereffered name can go into school system due to being catholic school and for graduation diploma we have to contact the person in charge and ask. I just need some advice on what to do, I am thank ful for the advice everyone had given me, made me feel better about future and hope that I can transition but also worry about familial ties and affect. due to most f them being born in the 80's and 90's and not taking it well originally mostly based on my moms reaction. I love my family alot but how they might react is scaring me. my mom still donesnt want them to know. I know they love me but when I eventually come out and medically trasition in several years hopefully, what will happen? there are little kids in the family and I already dont see them a lot, how would their parents react? what would they say to the kids? I know my aunt would not take it well due to political belief and warnings from cousins.

Maybe.  But they'd probably resent being required to do it.   IDK.  You have to show ID to register already.  And you have to be registered to vote.

Hah! Woke up the Red Scare!   I’ve never read Marx. I tend to believe in the inherent goodness in people. I let their words and deeds change that. Insisting people are immoral/less than/should not exist, stripping them (or keeping them from) human rights, is an a most basic example of true evil. What evils do LGBTQ+ people present simply existing? How does the Right justify their crusade against us? What justifies the manufactured fear and loathing they spout every day about us?

Congrats on the new addition @Ivy I have the opposite I have 4 grandson and a granddaughter. 3 of whom are visiting this weekend. I am feeling better. I think the biggest thing is that I got some much needed sleep.   Well gotta go and speed sometime with the grandsons.   Kymmie

I saw this concert in which it is said that the famous phrase of Jon Landau "I saw the future of rock and roll and his name is Bruce Springsteen" comes from that night. By the way Bruce opened for Bonnie Raitt that night and she was the better performer . . . just sayin'.

Astronomy and astrophotography.  I have done a few public presentations on the subject and could most likely wing it for an hour without putting you to sleep.   On the other hand if you need a sleeping pill, I could also talk for an hour about flying and you'd be out cold.

Please consider joining us, even if it's just for a few minutes to see what the meetings are like. I've learned so much, had so much fun and gained confidence in myself just by being a part of this amazing group of people. It's a low key, no pressure, non-judgmental chance to just be among people who are supportive, understanding and affirming of each other.    I'm travelling out of state and still planning on dropping in for awhile.    Come see what it's like!!

Thank you, Susan!! It was such an amazing experience for me. I can't remember if I even talked about it on a Zoom meeting.   Here is the link to the post I made about it. And, again, thank you for helping to give me the courage to do it.
