Voting by mail?

I am probably a bit premature with this reminder but.......

I have been voting by mail for a time now due to my wife's illness.  With the covid virus difficulties and my desire to vote this November i am set to use an absentee ballot again this year.

NJ and many states, perhaps all of them, have web sites that tell you how to get your ballot so you can vote by mail.  If you plan to do this start getting that ballot soon!  It takes time to come.  I doubt any will be available until after the conventions finalize the possible candidates. That time is close.   Our ballots usually come about a month prior to the election date.

Once you get it please remember that the post office will take some time to deliver your ballot.

I guess i just want to remind everyone including myself that i can't wait until November to act if i'm going to use mail.

Hugs,

Charlize

Thank you, Charlize.  An important reminder, and I totally agree.  Vote, and if your state allows, vote early.

(I was going to add, "vote often" but I then I thought, nah.  ?)

Living overseas I am always "absentee", but with mail delays (which I have noticed this year) I am hoping we receive our ballots in time to get them turned around.
Thank you @Charlize!  it will be a same day Vote and mail for me this year.

The governor of NH has removed any barriers to mail in voting.  No reason needed other than you want to.

I’m not voting by mail . There is no reason people can’t get to the polls for able body Americans where the curve has been surprised

I have always voted by mail.  Spending 20 years in the military, much of it spent serving my country from overseas, it was the only way I could vote.  Now I live in a state where voting by mail has been the norm for many years (NJ), so, I don't need to stand in line at the polls.  Voting absentee doesn't make me any less a patriot or diminish my vote one bit.

I just want the satisfaction of doing it in person.
