Just can't help showing off a little bit. Here are a few pics of one of the planes I fly in my simulator. It's a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

My passion is canal boats and the inland waterways of England.

I love it.   I watch a lot of those narrow boat vids on youtube.  I'm jealous of y'all over there and how those canals have been preserved.

This such a positive thread. I hate to be me but maybe its the depression. I don't think i have ever found a true passion. People ask if you could do any job what would it be? I still have no answer. Is that strange? Anyone else in that boat?

While i often enjoy painting or sculpting i think my biggest passion is the farm where i grew up and where i live with my wife in the 1830 log home we  rebuilt in 1984.  My son and his family live in the old stone 1790 house next door. where i lived as a child.  Maintaining and trying to improve the land while making some maple syrup keeps me busy.  Our herd of goat is contracted for sale and will be busy making antibodies for things like the covid virus.  I'll let the pastures rest a bit and we are looking at getting some sheep.

Hugs,

Charlize

I never used to be familiar with that before, because for most of my childhood up through my 20's, I was deeply passionate about computers and programming them...well, really it was maybe closer to an obsession. ;)

But I would up getting completely burned out on it, and fed up with certain things about the field. At this point, I can barely imagine caring one bit for any of it. I almost feel like I'm not even the same person. (I'm actually ok with feeling like a different person because I ended up not liking being that person and all the problems it led me to.) So for the first time in my life, I'm feeling adrift and directionless.

There are things I like, and various "comsumable entertainments" I'm really into, but as far as an actual pursuit that I'm deeply passionate about (aside from maybe femininity? ;) ), I don't really have anything like that either.

@Charlize I love log cabins and my wife and I rent them in Hocking Hills area of Ohio. I lived in one for several years back in my pre married days.

Well, I guess so.  I worked most of my life really just to put food on the table for my family.   And I don't regret that.  I suppose it was the guy thing about bringing home the bacon and all.  I have always been writing something, whether or not anyone ever read it.  But I never called myself a writer, it was just something I had to do.

I guess I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
