Favorite Male Singer?

My favorite 2 male singers are Paul Rodgers and Joe Cocker 

 

But the photo below shows the guy I portrayed for our Food For the Hungry concert years ago - lots of mascara on my thin tiny beard to make look real. My daughter thought maybe the tight leather pants was a bit much. I did about everything Morrison would do on stage except drop my drawers (which I don't really think totally happened - no photo evidence and there where plenty of cameras there -someone would have tried to make money on it.

I'm not sure I have a favourite artist, but I love the bass and twotone singing Avi Kaplan can do and I have always loved distinctive powerful rock and gravelly blues voices and styles, Freddie Mercury, Chester Bennington, Ray Charles, Otis Reading, Ben Ottewell (Gomez) and Paul Janeway (St Paul and the broken bones).?

 

This may have sent me down a musical rabbit hole!

For me, my favorite singular band has been Linkin Park, so I have go with Chester Bennington as my favorite male singer. I felt like the lyrics spoke to me. One of my favorite songs ever and favorite video of it is a memorial to him:
