Quick question about estradiol

So I have a question about a side effect of estradiol. Ive only been on it for a little over a month and since then I always feel like I just want to bawl my eyes out at night. I always feel really sad  at night. I know that estrogen messes with your emotions, but does it affect you around the same time every night. I talked to both my endocrinologist and my therapist, my endocrinologist says it's normal and my therapist says crying is my way of stress relief, she doesn't think somethings wrong. My therapist also thinks I'm sad because I have to "take-off Holly and that I'm really sad that I feel I'm de transitioning on some level.

 

So my question is, does anyone else on HRT get "cry" sad  around the same time everyday or am I just the weird one? lol

I don't think you are any weirder than most of us.  I certainly remember emotional upheavals when i had to be him again.  I also know that i can get introspective at the end of the day.  Often that brings emotions to the forefront. Perhaps we all face the effects of E differently but tears seem to flow, at times from joy, melancholy or perhaps a case of the poor me's.

Thank you @Charlize this is really new to me and at times I think that I'm the only one that this stuff has ever happened to me. I ultimately know that its all happened to other people, but sometimes things are so strange that it just feels that its only me.. lol

 

If the sadness is the result of my hormones needing to e3ven out, I really wish they would just even out already. Last night I had a dream that no one loved me, I remember crying in my dream and when I woke up I was really crying. I need my hormones to start acting right, my pillow can only hold so many tears..

I've always been a crier but now can seemingly do it at will. I don't cry at the same time every day, nor cry every day, but I do notice that certain events will trigger the emotions each time they come up.

Same with me. I'm learning what kind of thoughts make me cry so I can avoid it when needed. Maybe I'll learn to cry to get my way, just like a cis-girl.
