OK OK OK..sorry i'm really excited!

Ok so this morning i went to see my therapist (she loves my makeup btw) and we chatted (been a little while since i have been) then 45 minutes after I went to see my new doctor (she's a mtf fully transistioned) and she talked to me for about an hour or so, and gave my my work order for blood work... she said about a week after its done she should get the results, and she would formulate my HRT "cocktail" and get me started..so basically I could start HRT in like a week to a week and a half! OMG i am so happy... i skipped out of the doc's office with a big stupid grin on my face lol

anyway, had to get that off my chest!

Congratulations!

You are well on your way to the next major steo in your transition. I'm sure the women will be along shortly to share their experiences - but enjoy the milestones!!!

Congratulations girls - I still have another month before my Doctor visit - blood work - already done.

Oh no! lost use of adjectives - adverbs next - waiting - hormones - strain on brain - loosing battle with Lee Falk Syndrom*

One day we will all be ourselves - you too April, be patient and you will find the way to your true path and you will make rhings happen - you have a very strong will.

Love ya,

Sally

*Lee Falk created the comics Mandrake the Magician and The Phantom - at times of stress he left out words ( all adjectives and most adverbs were gone) and replaced them with - .

Just wait a few weeks maybe less when your brain finally starts feeling the estrogen and the androgen blockers start working. I felt at peace with myself for the first time in my life. It's truly an amazing feeling because for so long I was told that I was bipolar, I never was. I have not needed those medicines since I started. I still take cymbalta that helps with muscle pain but now that I'm on lyrica I'm going to see if my doctor will ween me of of that. Finding that peaceful easy feeling is one of the things the doctors look for when judging whether or not you where a good candidate for HRT and later you SRS.

The only real drug I need, nothing like being an estrogen junkie!!! :D

Good morning and congratulations @MirandaBon getting your ears pierced. This opens up a new line of jewelry to buy and collect.    @KymmieLits ashamed that any employee would ever to post a sign like this.    Well Parker Von Schwinegruber not only got me up early, we enjoyed our first cup of coffee on the patio before the sun was up. Oh it was daylight but just barely. The second cup of coffee was in the recliner, and now I’m pinned here and need someone to pour my third cup.    It’s a dog’s life… Eat, play, go potty and sleep. I adore the Bee Gees. There's no way that I could link all their great songs in the above post. To me though, this song of theirs is head and shoulders above everything else:

My long hair is the single most important physical feature of my body which confirms the presence of my inner woman.   That said @SS, I am the 'other' sort of bi-gender. I am of the simultaneous type. I do not flip-flop between girl days and boy days either mentally or through presentation. For me, I am both primary genders at the same time, and the compromise is made through an androgynous presentation. When I look in the mirror, I can see either, but I am happy to admit that when I see a woman, I am happier.

Quite unexpected!   I had my weekly conversation with my father last night and he mentioned something he did that caught me totally off guard.  He was browsing garage sales and came across a nice blond wig, he decided to buy it and his wife was quite perplexed he said.  They had a dinner date with a couple that are friends since high school, and my father went dressed as a woman (with his wife's assistance). He said he did it as a "joke", but spent the entire evening dressed.

Thank you! So do I! Although I'm proud of what it portrays, I don't wear it often because I think it could be taken as being a bit provocative. One part of me says look at me, I'm proud to be on the rainbow and the other part says pull your head in, you're asking for trouble.   I do have a more subtle pride t-shirt that I visibly wear more often, here is a representation of it: "Moon phase rainbow" V-Neck T-Shirt by secretmagic | Redbubble
