Heya, I'm Nate, an ftm. I won't bore you with too many details - my story is pretty normal. I grew up knowing I wasn't quite right, finally realized just what was wrong with me around puberty, suffered in the closet for a few years, then came out last summer. Contrary to my fears, my family has been incredibly accepting and supportive, and I've been on the road to transition since.

I'm part of an LGBT group in my home town, but unfortunately I don't many transpeople, so I was pretty exited when I found Laura's Playground. I'm thrilled to be here and I've already picked up so many useful tips on passinga nd more from people's posts here.

Anyway, I'll be hanging around here and posting from time-to-time in the future. Rigth now, I just have one question:

I don't seem to be able to view profiels, neither my own nor other users'. Is this normal for new users, like a probation thing, or have I got the settings wrong somewhere?

Welcome to the forums, come on in and sit down here in this nice, comfy chair.

I have some pizza here if oyu are hungry and most of our FTMs are.

Besides the smell of hot pizza brings everyone running to the members lounge - to meet the new member but you might want to take two pieces of pizza they will eat while they are here.

Feel free yo ask questions and wonder around, we are non-judgemental and very freindly.

You might try viewing profiles again - you couldn't until your membership was approved.

You can not use the PM system until you have 5 posts.

I am glad you found us! A lot of FTM here. I have a GLBT group in New Orleans and it has seven FTM - and three of us MTF - interesting!
