Yesterday I stood before a judge and got a chance to tell him a little about my life. He questioned me about certain things and after about 15 minutes he made his decision. Finding that I was not seeking his order to commit fraud he found me a female. Which I took to Social Security today and they followed the order and changed the SS gender marker from male to female. NO MORE WILL THEY OUT ME TO EMPLOYERS YEAH!!!!

And today paper work with the doctors letter for the operation and the judges order were sent in to California to get an amended Birth Certificate.

I feel like I was just born. LOL Yesterday tho I think I was still in shock. On the way home from SS I started to cry. It was a long journey.

But there is one down side.... hospitals will no longer be required to give me a room to myself....DRAT!

Finally all of the pieces of paper know that you are a woman so now you can be.

If the only down side is a loss of a private room in the hospital, I can life with that!

Yup always was female. the paper finally caught up. LOL I keep reading it because never in my life did I think I would one day stand in front of a judge asking him to sign an order like this. And you know it was such a huge relief to finally get Social Security to change their records. I am sorry but SS is way out of line for how they continue to treat us. I hate that agency. When they contact your place of work and your employers find out your birth sex does not match what you were hired as? That is just way too much. I hope Obama changes that.

My Order reads in part... "NOW THEREFORE it is hereby ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the sex of the petitioner is, and

the same shall be, FEMALE."

Apparently California is now requiring a judges order establishing sex to change BC along with a surgeons letter. That came into effect this past year and I bet it has to do with that real ID garbage.

It will happen hon. Give it time. It is not an easy journey. One of the biggest things I had to learn was how to look at this journey and find humor in it.
