Chosen Family Conversations After Christmas Dinner

Last night I spent over 4 hours online with two groups of Trans and Enby people with the after dinner talk of families at Christmas time. It was indeed Family Time since we are each other's Chosen Family members, where we are free to be who we are without fear of deadnaming or or denial of identity through misuse of pronouns that indicate our gender. The happy news for some of us was that they received their FIRST Christmas Cards and small gifts from blood family that were gender appropriate and had their Chosen Names on them. They in turn though listened with love and understanding with a few who had been the victims of family disrespect and deliberately chosen "weapons" in the horrible disguise of "gifts". We also got the wonderful news that two pairs of our Chosen Family members will be wedding each other in the coming year, the rings were a beautiful promise of beautiful people becoming beacons of LOVE to a world crying in darkness right now. A true evening of Blessing from the Creche.
