tips for passing (ftm)

here are some tips i have for anyone struggling to pass whether you're pre-t or already on testosterone and just wanna know some better tips that are safe and effective, then this is perfect for you

- face makeup & contour

contour will be your best friend if you are going for a more masc facial structure. i personally like to use makeup a lot and i find contour very effective. take a contour brush and blend your cheekbones and jawline and thats pretty much all! you can also fill in your eyebrows to make them darker if you'd like to add to it too. i use the contour kit by anastasia beverly hills, but if you're looking for something cheap but efficient i suggest the contour kit by wet n wild.

- binding

binding can really help with chest dysphoria and i found that the half binder from gc2b works best for me, but you can also check amazon too. and for the love of god do not sleep in your binder, your ribs will feel it in the morning.

- clothing

clothing can also help with easing your dysphoria. wearing boxers may help a lot of the bottom dysphoria and it tends to be pretty darn comfy too! also hoodies, jeans, and shirts that arent too tight on ya really does help. if youre going for something casual, do what i did. i was at a christian high school and ya boi pulled up wearing a men's dress shirt from walmart and dress pants when the other girls wore dresses and skirts to prom. shoes like sneakers, high tops, combat boots are also my go to shoes!

- hair

if you have short hair already then you've already got this. but if you have hair on the longer side, heres a tip. i wear beanies often and i ended up cutting the front part of my hair like the 2007 emo kid. but if you part your hair then put the back of your hair in a low bun then you just gave yourself a diy pixie cut, sorta

-packing

if you already use your packer on the daily, great, but if anyone who isnt out or doesnt have a packer and you want to diy it, just stuff a sock in another sock and stick it in your underwear. now, you can live your life and ease some of your stress! woohoo

These are all helpful tips.  Thank you for sharing them and I try to just be average or dress like a guy would dress and not try to stand out.   You just want to blend in without being noticed.
