Me - I'm going to thank all my sisters and brothers and everyone no matter where you are on the spectrum or as a supporter for being here for me. Thank You.....(and I think I'll write a new song today)

Hi, Shay

I see you’ve put YOURSELF in all-caps. So, let's see, for myself … The past few days I’ve had lots of online business to attend to. The long hours left me dizzy. Trespassed upon, you could say. Earlier today, I thought of Wordsworth’s words: “The world is too much with us; late and soon, / Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers; / Little we see in Nature that is ours … “ So, after I post this, I’m going to turn on my Internet blocker––or better yet: turn off my computer altogether––and remain offline, “untouchable,” until at least Monday morning.Fingers crossed, that will help un-dizzy me.

I am going to  run 7 miles.  I am having a hard time getting out the door today, but, I know once I do I will feel better. It is a scheduled run as part of my training for a half ironman triathlon. It has been a bit of grind the last month. I'm having a 'down' week. I know facing this small hurdle helps face the big steps.

I may not be fast but I am persistent

I'm shallow. I'm just going to tint my eyebrows and get rid of the gray.

@Riannon wonderful idea.....I love the Wordsworth quote.

@miz miranda I used to run and did 1 marathon - so I understnad the training. You are a better woman than I now.

@MelanieTamara You're doing it for YOU so you're not being shallow you treating yourself as you should.

Well, there was one thing I was going to do today, but it's NC-17 so I won't mention it.

Unfortunately, my wife's car threw a check engine light. Something in the electrical is messed up so instead of getting comfy, I bought her a really fancy cupcake and drove her home from the mechanic.

Hugs!

Today I went on a bike ride in the sunshine to picnic at Cambridge Common and played catch with a softball but mostly I sat on a bench and talked and laughed with real faces. I also texted a new friend on a dating app—she's so sweet. What's better than that? It's a good day to be trans.

Look alive,

I went window shopping and actually only window shopped! So proud :) Then I went to the movies. "Promising Young Woman", which I liked. There was even a magic moment when, walking down a crowded avenue, a very young trans woman and I happened to look at each other in the eyes, and there was a connection, like a brief "eye smile". All in all, it's been a pretty good Saturday! I hope eveybody else's was / is as well.

I shaved my legs, chest, underarms, and what is left of my beard today. Tomorrow I'm going to get up, eat my breakfast, do my make-up to my best abilities, go to work, and try to have a good day..

Thank you all for responding. I love that you are treating yourself with respect and having some fun.

@Jackie C. sorry about the car but getting your wife a cupcake was so sweet and hopefully you felt good about doing a kindness.

Today I want to finish a woodworking project. I've been putting together a bird cage for my sister who rescued two nest fall European house sparrows. We've been using an old, old rabbit cage that we used to use for putting young chickens outside, and it's serviceable, but a bit janky looking.

My project probably won't get a lot of use. My sister has plans to put in screen mesh in the old chicken pen so they have a large outdoor enclosure to live in, but I don't mind. Even if it's only for a few days I'll still enjoy being able to see Harrow and Darcy (the sparrows) better while they're in the house. It also gives us a nice indoor option just in case they need to come in for something, or a situation changes.
