I met their Clydesdale horses on New Years morning many years ago while I was doing Ham Radio service for the  Rose Parade and the horses were great, but I do not miss the beers these days.

Unfortunately I think a lot of businesses donate to candidates without full knowledge of their positions.  I doubt AB supported these candidates for anti-LGBT reasons; most likely for other pressing matters important to their business.

 

I rarely drink beer.  I do think its a shame they have been buying many small and micro brewers.  This may be indicative of their falling market share and demographic shift.  I've never liked their products.

Yeah.  I doubt that most businesses actually give a fig about LGBT issues.  They just want to sell beer.

When I do have beer, I prefer the "craft" types.  I never expected it, but my tastes have kinda migrated toward what I used to consider undrinkable girly beverages.

Of course AB is probably making them too.

I prefer more traditional types of beer here which are somewhat stronger in strength and flavour. In the past I sometimes used to drink the odd Budweiser for a refrehing daytime drink when on holiday but lemonade is a good substitue.

I agree ... it possibly was not intended to target LGBTQ+ but I do think its GREAT to point these issues out to businesses so next time they will be more careful, and/or actually donate to supportive parties/candidates.  Good on Stonewall Inn!
