Painful erection

I’ve been on HRT for 19 months and androgen blockers for several years.   Now, I don’t have a sex drive or become erect unless actively engaging with a partner.  I haven’t had a partner for a few months and even then, it was briefly.

 

 I’m seeing someone new and I’m experiencing pain with erection.  It kind of feels like the erectile tissue isn’t big enough for the amount of blood being forced in.  It leaves me a little sore after.  I know shrinkage is expected.  I just want to make sure this is normal.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

Each person is different, but I would call your doctor since the pain is great enough to bother you.  If you simply listen to other people you may miss a critical window for treatment of a serious condition.  If you have been on androgen blockers alone, this normally would have happened early in the game, but you are a ways along on this.  Please call a doctor, a urologist will know your answer.
