Emily Michele's GCS

Well, I’m done with surgery! Took them about 6-1/2 to 7 hours, but it was worth it. I’m sore and tired and I’ve got a headache because I haven’t had my morning coffee yet, but I am so glad to finally be in the right body! Honestly the worst part is I feel like I need to pee really bad… I’ve got a catheter but it’s putting pressure and that’s why I feel like I need to pee.

Congratulations @Emily Michele!

I've been there with a post-surgical catheter, but that's temporary. Enjoy your new sense of freedom—that will not be so temporary.

cheers,

Congratulations!

And yeah, the catheter SUCKS! I had drains too. I think those sucked even a little more. Egad, my vag is puckering just THINKING about it. Ew. Ew. Ew.

Hugs!

Congratulations @Emily Michele. Hope your recovery is swift and complication free. I also agree the catheter, while necessary, is absolutely the worst! For me, it was worse than the surgery itself.

My Best,

Susan R?

Day After surgery. Things are going well, pain is managed by Tylenol. I’m glad I decided on a zero depth vaginoplasty. It may not be for everyone, but something to consider.

Congratulations @Emily Michele

I am about 3 months past my zero depth. The catheter was absolutely the worst part of it for me. Happy healing!

Hugs,

Mike

So, 9 weeks post op and I feel amazing! I can wear clothes based on form not function! Nothing to hide below the belt! So glad I did what I did!

Having the right parts has brought me such confidence and freedom. Confidence in   myself and my gender, that if someone happens to see my panties they’ll see girl parts and no extra lumps…

freedom to be a woman and to wear all the clothes that I  want to wear. I choose based on look, not on how they’ll hide stuff. And panties are comfy now!
