@Lexi C That is a very nice pic! You look contemplative and content. Posting in black and white is also a nice touch. I can’t wait to see your “After” surgery pic…When you’re all healed up, of course.

Good luck, Lexi! I’m scheduled for FFS in a couple of weeks, too! You’re looking great already, so you’re bound to have great results!

Thanks ladies so much.

WELL this what i look like after, i will take the bandages of 2mor

I am  not sure Kasumi where your doing your FFS but stay away from White Memorial Hosp in down town L.A

Horrible exp. I was miss gender the whole time( on purpose), at one point the Anesthesia Doc( elderly old Asian man) ask me;

"Why are you here today?"

" I am getting my FFS upper surgery!"

" Why do you want to do that". He was so sarcastic.

The nurses kept calling me sir, even thought I correct then and it said on my chart Miss.

They forgot to get  X-Ray of my face which the doc order. I was force to wait an extra hr.

An Hour of which start cause me major doubt and worry to point that I began crying. I was so anxious before they but me on the op table I had to pee and the Anesthesia Doc said( as he was putting the tubs in my arms),

"Man up its only a hr and half surgery."

I start to cry uncontrollable cause  one of ER nurse to hung me.

The Anesthesiologist did care, I could hear my Doc scream;

Don't put her under i don't have her x-ray yet?"

I wake up, they rush( I mean RUSH) me out of the surgery room into the recovery room, gave me my clothes.

I was still so loopy from the anesthesia that I barely comprehended what the nurse ( Who still keep calling sir) was saying.

He hand me a couple off prescription. I told him I wanted get then here cause they don't prescript oxy where i live.

He look piss, tells the head nurse and Doc and i can hear them say; " I don't care just get him out of that room, put him in the waiting room until to he feels better.

I was still so sick, vomiting for all the surgery that they finally let me wait for my friend to go Pharmacy pick up the drugs and take me home.

Even my friend was like; " WHAT THE F was that. ?"

3days after the surgery my Doc assistant finally call me back to check on me and give my post op instructions

Thank God i had a friend( downstairs N.bor) willing to pick me up.

Cause they wanted to call an Uber to take me home.

I finally much better now but for those past fours i was super depress

Thank you again for caring. It's over and i have learn that i need to accept the results cause.

I still feel and look i like a guy but the few people who have seen me say that i look younger.

Not sure if it was worth all the stress and drama i want through

But What is done is done .

Much Lv

Lexi

Sorry to hear about all your trouble, Miss Lexi! That sounds like a rather unpleasant experience. However, it's probably too early to tell how the surgery turned out. Even when you take off the bandages, it will take some time before your skin and facial fat conform to your face. A lot of doctors--especially surgeons--are not so good with their bedside manner and how they treat patients, even though they perform great surgery. I suspect the results are better than you fear, even if they aren't as good as you hoped. Good luck with your recovery. I hope everything turns out good for you!

By the way, my FFS will be in two days. I'm in Bangkok, and I'm just about finished my two-week quarantine.

I'm currently on the ballot for an open US Representative seat in Portland Oregon.  Here are some of the news stories on me:   Rachel Lydia Rand on Ballotpedia: https://ballotpedia.org/Rachel_Rand#Campaign_themes KATU 2 (ABC) Know Your Candidates 2024: Rachel Lydia Rand https://www.katu.com/news/know-your-candidates/rachel-lydia-rand-d-congress-district-3 League of Women Voters Candidate Forum for US Representative https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOoS39CTEOw KOIN 6 Written Interview | top issues, what's going right https://www.koin.com/news/politics/rachel-rand-on-running-for-district-3-top-issues-whats-going-right/ League of Women Voter's Interview with Rachel Lydia Rand https://youtu.be/V5o9RKE3WVo     This is my third time running for US Rep.  Campaigning is very challenging for me because I only have two family members still alive and I've spent less than 2 weeks with them in my life and I have virtually no social network to start with and I don't belong to any social media sites.  I haven't even been able to post here and on sites like it because of rules about self-promotion.   I'm boldly saying in these videos that I want to be appointed to vice-president in the next 5 years.  My platform is about addressing climate change and everything that comes with it.  Population decline is the number one proposal I have and it is very, very scary and controversial for most people.  The way I see it is that oil is more than a fuel we burn in our cars, it's a substance we pave our roads with.  And it will run out, so at some point in the future, most of these roads are going to go away and we'll have a much harder time distributing food.  I play chromatic pennywhistle and I'm this iconic whistleblower politician saying that we will not be able to support 10 billion people at the end of the century on wind and solar power.  Even solar panels are made with oil and there isn't much difference between a wind turbine and a dam.  If we can build skyscrapers and nuclear power, then you'd think we'd be able to figure out how to make a wind turbine 100 years ago.  It's simply not as efficient.  The numbers I've crunched say that if we have one child for every two women for the next 40 years and then go back to normal replacement rate, we'll get our population down to 2 billion by 2099 which is where the world was at in 1950.  If we don't do that and stay on this current path for the projected 10 billion by 2100, then when oil runs out and climate change raises sea levels and floods coastal cities, humanity is going to be in a very uncivil situation.   I'm sorry that I'm not making a huge issue of transgender rights.  Of course I'm here to support our community.  I'd be highly visible on our national and international scene as a transwoman.  I tend to focus on engineering realities rather than these social issues.  It upsets me that people take engineering for granted.  People tend to just get in their cars and think that there will be some space age technical solution that will make it all OK.   OK, that's my rant for the day :-)  Coffee is on.  4:26am.  The ABC station is interviewing me again in a few hours and people can vote for me today.  Please consider spreading the word.  I'm only one person and it takes an incredible amount of effort to keep my political thinking and platform going.   Sincerely, Rachel Lydia Rand Jazz Musician | Software Engineer

"Exstatic" is an adjective that means feeling great rapture or delight. For example, "His wife gave birth to their first child, and he was ecstatic about it". Synonyms of "ecstatic" include rapturous, entranced, enthusiastic, and frenzied.

Absolutely. Being able to encourage, to help, others is so empowering. I've been helped by so many people over the years, I love being able to pay it forward.

Good morning, everyone!!   A busy day ahead for me - need to cut the grass and then pick up the clippings. The grass grows so quickly this time of year. I cut almost 7 acres so that will take up most of my day. At least I can get some sun on my legs and arms!!   Time for another cup of coffee as I catch up here.   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given.

I started shaving my legs years ago - I started getting an occasional mild contact rash on my shins. That became my excuse to shave them for both me and my wife. Over time, the rash didn't expand...but my shaving did. Full legs....groin......chest......and finally my arms. Keeping the rash at bay was my excuse until I came out to my wife. Now I typically do a full shave on Sunday mornings. The hair is lighter but I just feel better with it gone - it helps with the dysphoria and dysmorphia. I will also typically do a chest touch-up mid week since I notice the growth more there.   I wish someone would invent a pill that would stop hair growth everywhere except on your head.

Good morning.   im not sure where the time went.  I had a decent nights sleep,  didn’t  tell Alexa to let me sleep another 5 minutes,  I didn’t do anything extra but it’s almost time to leave and I just got here.  Definitely only a one cup morning.    I have the overhead console out of the Ford. It needed some repairs with toothpicks and glue.  Been sitting all night t for the glue to harden. I’m always to impatient with glue but not this time.  I want it to hold. Ok the next owner won’t be able to change the lightbulbs however in my defense, the are led so they will likely still work when the car goes to the salvage yard.   gotta go. Not as much on my plate at work today but it’s always busy.   Willow

Yes, my programmer friends and I think that antivirus software is a virus.  It's constantly searching your system and slowing it down.  If you install your own OS and software on your machine, and you make backups of your personal files, then you can recover from viruses in an hour or two.  My computer is 10+ years old and is working as good as the first day I had it.   As long as my computer is doing what I want it to do, I don't care if someone is spying on my system.
