So, I did a thing today....

While I was getting dressed today after doing the face shave thing, I kind of decided to body shave as well. I used my hair buzzer with body attachment and just shaved away. It oddly made me happy. Especially under the arms. I didn't do my arms or legs as I don't want to answer questions I don't even have the answers to anyway. I've been shaving my face as close as possible. I have dark hair so it shows even then, but that's ok. Not really sure what made me happy about doing this, as it is such a little thing, but it did. Kind of weird I guess. I have very soft skin, likely due to having life long low T (Which is fortunate or unfortunate depending on which way I go.). I was particularly surprised, as I've always wanted to look more like other guys. I'm wondering if I wanted that for the wrong reasons.

Personally, I get anxious when I'm not smooth. I abhor facial or body hair on me. Side note: Occasionally my condition decides to let a follicle or two replicate. If it's on the top of my head, so be it, but anywhere else is getting ruthlessly plucked.

Also, the answer is, "For swimming." For example; "Why did you shave your legs?" You reply, "For swimming." See? Then they think you're sporty.

Hugs!

I used to be nervous about getting that question, too. But once I'd finally had it with my arm and leg hair and started getting rid of it all, I found that nobody's ever said anything about to me. I never even noticed anyone silently...noticing.

It might have helped though, that for awhile before going full-on shaved, I'd just been keeping it trimmed with the buzzer's set-length attachments, and at gradually shorter lengths.

At this point, (and maybe just because I don't remotely pass for athletic, and my family knows I rarely swim) I figure if I ever do get the question, I'll just keep it simple and honest: "I just don't really like body hair." You see a lot of guys in pictures and such without body hair and nobody thinks anything of it. No reason it needs to be a trans thing.

I’m not athletic at all either. I never really gave much thought to my body hair previously. I didn’t even have body hair until I was in my late 20’s. Didn’t really have to shave until my 30’s.

Oddly happy, yes! Back in January when I first started opening up the doors to the closet, I plucked all of my chest hairs and watched with intense curiosity as they swirled around the toilet bowl! I’ve been shaving them ever since. They don’t seem to grow as quickly as my face hair, so maybe once a week now. I was a lot less patient with my arms and legs. I shaved the leg as in tha shower the next day. I wasn’t too worried about anyone noticing since I always have my chest and legs covered. It took a week before I plucked up the nerve to do my arms too. I’ve noticed since then that there is a wide diversity in men in body hair. Guys who present themselves in a masculine way, no doubt about their gender, sometimes have no arm or leg hair or very fine hair. I don’t know if it’s natural or if they shave it, and I don’t know if I’d get a straight answer from them if I asked. So I stopped worrying  about baring my arms fairly quickly.

Good morning   weii I’ve read some good news here this morning    Yes the ancient Roman symbol was used on some coins. The Mercury dime come to mind. It was showing our fighting might.  Arrows and a fighting axe.  I realize few people recall the Mercury dime.  My 6th grade swore there was no such thing so I brought him one.  He had promised a dollar if I could prove it which I did. Then he tried to Welch on the bet. The entire class got on him and he had to give me the dollar.  Ah, the little things we still remember from over 60 years ago.  Like today as a i was cutting a banana for my cereal I recalled my grandfather doing the same for me about 70+ years ago.   well instead of a 9 hour day I have an 8 hour day scheduled then there is that stay a little longer to do X.
