How do you move forward when you feel you are living in limbo?

I close my eyes and push through it. Sometimes it’s easier to pick up the pieces afterwards.

I feel like I've been limbo-ed for the past year or more….   Sigh.

You just do.  The feeling of being in limbo is common.  It will pass as you find your center of balance.

I almost always find somewhere else to focus my time. I will start a new book or try a new hobby.

 

I actually feel I’m living in limbo today. Covid has ground my transition to a near halt in many ways. Although Today, I did receive my PCP letter of recommendation for my insurance to pay for my electrolysis treatments. I’ve been doing so many ‘non-transition’ related things that I sometimes feel I’m spreading myself thin. It is keeping me from worrying about my transition progress or lack there of.

@Susan R congrats I'm happy for you. My eBay sales are going right into my electrolysis and therapy and the stuff I've yet to sell is growing thin.

@Susan R That's fabulous Susan, those treatments sure can add up. 

 

The feeling of limbo is transitory, as you cross the great divide....

Would it help to list the pros and cons of one way or the other? Is it that you switch genders involuntarily?

For me there is no doubt now about transition. It is trying to keep spouse of 29 years and allowing her acceptance and although I know it will continue to be slow it feels snail pace.
