Hi all. I'm gonna avoid using my legal name for right now, so I chose the handle SirBeastling as it is my gamer tag, discord username, and pretty much anything else that involves hiding my real life ego. I mostly find the name fun as it allows the furry part of me to be happy, while also creating a bit of an oxymoron, as a knight and a beast seem to be opposites, but it feels a lot like who I am and has become a big part of my internet identity. (If someone finds offense, let me know and I will change it.)

 

I am discovering myself amidst the nonbinary realm with knowing little about anything. I am AMAB, using they/them pronouns for the time being or as long as it fits, and finally feel a small part of me lift in euphoria at the idea that I am being a little bit more true to myself. I also have OSDD, Bipolar, and OCD, and for a long time, I have been struggling. But this I am optimistic about. Forgive me if I say the wrong thing or am not sure what I did wrong; I do not want to offend, but my knowledge of these topics is severely lacking. Please educate me on how I can best learn.

 

My favorite hobbies are writing, movie-watching, and gaming (mostly Apex Legends these days (Pathfinder be my fave)).

Welcome @SirBeastling, It’s nice to have you here. Don’t worry about how much you know. We are all learning here to some degree or another. This forum is packed with so much information I think you’ll find helpful and if you can’t find an answer, we have plenty of members who would enjoy helping you. Hi & a belated welcome to you @SirBeastling . I like your name - how playful and yet how strong it sounds. I had to look up OSDD. I learned it's what used to be called DDNOS which is what I was diagnosed with as a teen. I understand how much of a struggle that can be - it's still something I deal with, but it can get better/manageable by learning and practicing new skills. I'm glad you're here and look forward to hearing more from you.
