What's going to be my real story with estrogen?

Hello everyone! I am so excited to say that after months and months of waiting, hours spent with my health care professionals contributing to their kids' college funds, and giving gallons of blood to my vampiric phlebotomists, I finally received approval to start taking estrogen yesterday! I can't wait to see what happens next, and I know there are countless hours of really good reading here in the forums about what to expect. What I really want to know, though, is your most snarky, sarcastic, unserious revelations about the God-sent gift of HRT / GAHT! For instance, I have been on spiro since last June, so I'm already starting to like pickles (ewwww!)! Is it true estrogen will make my back hair return to the top of my head? Will farts stop being funny? Will I be able to accurately tell the difference between all 29,000 shades of pink and label them correctly? Will cats no longer seem like the spawn of satan? Will Aqua's "Barbie Girl" song make sense? Will my 80's brain be able to recognize the difference between spandex and yoga pants? Let me know and have fun! 😀

Perhaps i am most blown away by my smelling different.  Not farts (they still can still funny) but that male smell we all know as we exercise.  

I'm still as bald as always but fortunately almost no leg, back or tummy hair growth.  

More important my level of peace has changed.  I'm comfortable in the world now as i never was before.  Emotions simply roll over me with a strength i used to seemingly control.

It took time for any effect but i have to remember puberty took my teen years.

Fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride which is somehow a race at slow motion.

 

Oh yes ......keep laughing at farts.
