Does the label demiboy describe me?

Hello everyone, my name is Arielle.

 

Before I start let me give the definition of Demiboy in my own words.

 

An person amab who doesn’t feel completely make, or a person afab who feels a connection to the male gender.

 

Of course this identity is much more than that and everyone is different, but that’s the genera jist of it.

 

Knowing that, let me dive right in.

 

Up until last year actually, I didn’t think of non-binary and related identities as actual things, I used to be super close minded, despite me being gay myself lmao.

 

It wasn’t until I actually began dating my current partner, who is actually non binary themselves, that my mind was opened.

 

And thus, I actually began to question my own gender identity.

 

Since I was a kid, i’ve always liked girly things, I liked wearing my mom’s high heels, I listened almost exclusively to(and still do) female singers, all of my favorite characters from various franchises were females, I was and am obsessed with the color pink, I enjoy crossdressing, I almost always choose females in games where you can choose your gender, and if I do choose a male I always make them very feminine. 

 

When I first put on full female attire, I was LIVING lmao, it felt nice, and I enjoy dressing in female clothing from time to time, it makes me feel nice

 

But, despite all this, i’ve never had body dysmorphia, i still very much don’t mind the fact that i’m a male at all in terms of sex or even gender.

 

However, i don’t like the idea of being traditionally masculine, having to ‘be a man’, do ‘manly’ things, and the like, it’s all very ew to me lmao. 

 

But, I don’t think i would ever see myself identifying as fully a female, which is why I shyed away from gendrfluid, but I still very much have a connection to the female gender.

 

All in all, I still identify as a guy, for the most part, but with a close connection to the female gender, to the point where I prefer femininity over masculinity.

 

And thus, acknowledging all of that, I feel that if i were to decide, i’d most likely identify as a transfeminine (assigned male at birth who indemnified with femininity, includes trans women and feminine leaning non binary folk) demiboy~

 

Do you think this would be an accurate label?

Hello Arielle and welcome.  As to your last question about accuracy, I would say so if it's that how you define yourself.  The beauty of this community is you decide.  Who am I (or anyone else) to define you? That said we all evolve and you may find yourself aligning to different terminology at some point, but maybe not.
