NHS Top Surgery Questions.

I had my first appointment with Dr Stuart Lorimer last December and was put on T by the local branch that does trans care in my area back in February. I have another appointment with Dr Lorimer slated for this December when he said that he'd see how I'm getting on and talk about top surgery. 

 

Do any of you have experience with how long it's likely to take between that talk and top surgery actually taking place? Any idea for waiting list times? I know it's difficult with there being different times for different GICs, but just getting a rough idea would be good. I don't want to get my hopes up for something and then find I'm stuck on a waiting list for another three years.

Unfortunately I'm not based in your area so I don't have any experience with this, but I just wanna boost this thread so hopefully someone can help you find answers. Congrats on getting on T though, happy for ya!

My experience is a little different than yours. I put myself on T so by the time I went for my first Dr appointment I already had a full beard and was also 26 years old. I had one assessment and then was booked in for surgery about 3 months later if I remember correctly. If I were you I'd ask your doctor at your next appointment and hopefully they can give you a rough eta.
